with Sean Mcdonough and Todd Blackledge was excellent. Was one of the best calls in a while. Very knowledgeable and broke the game down well. Kept you very engaged and was balanced between both teams. No mistakes were really made.

Todd Blackledge is the best CFB announcer in the game

I will also say I'm warming up to Chris Blair on radio. Now, Zack Strief for New Orleans is just terrible.

Agreed. Blackledge is one of the best in the business IMO, and I'm glad McDonough is back to doing college. He told Finebaum yesterday that he enjoys it more than the NFL, and you can tell.

They even took us down memory lane to McDonough's call of Warren Morris' HR.

Blackledge is the top guy in CFB. It’s always a treat to listen to him call a game

Blackledge is always very good. Mcdonough is knowlegable and professional but just very boring.

I agree the calling of the game was good. The only criticism I have is there for a while, all three, including Holly on the sideline were talking in detail about the quarterbacks at Florida State. Obviously, they were told to hype the Monday night game. But other than that, great call of the game.

I thought they were great, too. But didn't Mcdonough say something like 'Rozier hasn't made a mistake yet' just before the pick 6?

Sean Mcdonough has always had a great voice for the big play. It's uplifting and thrilling when it's your team and absolutely crushing when it's the other team. One of the best voices in the business, for sure.

They are my favorite pair but I thought they talked way too much about how poorly Miami was playing and what the Hurricanes needed to do to correct their mistakes rather than talk about what LSU was doing right.

I was actually going to make a thread about this but forgot.

McDonough and Blackledge immediately became the best duo in College football in my opinion.

Sean is just excellent all the way around and todd is informative as hell.

Honestly, i'm not sure i've ever seen a better group as the 'big 3' like we have right now.

Fowler/Herbie
Nessler/Danielson
Mcdonough/Blackledge

thats pretty damn good.

Danielson and Blackledge IMO are the two best in the business. At least when it comes to analysis.

Those two guys actually help a TV audience understand the chess match that is unfolding on the field. They truly add value to the broadcast.

I disagree. Then again, I guess some people like 15 year old boys calling big plays.
