It’s the same quote after every loss. Is it possible that Kelly genuinely doesn’t know how to make this team better? Is he out of solutions?

My favorite quote was “we have got to score more points than the other guys”.

He put the training wheels on Nuss after the Bama and A&M skid. We're chipping away at yardage and have to string together 5 3rd or 4th down conversions in a row to get in the end zone. You have to execute at a very high level consistently for that to work. A penalty or dropped pass derails the entire drive. When that happens, they get fixated on "if Williams would've caught that pass we would be still marching to the end zone right now." What they fail to realize is if the plan requires perfect execution from all the players, it's a terrible gameplan when we've shown time and time again that we're not that consistent. Players are going to have false starts, holding, dropped balls etc. It's been happening all year and yet we're still shocked every time it happens.

He’s spot on. We have seen enough.
This isn’t Brian Kelly. He’s whiffing at this job….probably on purpose. He has guaranteed money.

We have seen enough. We have absolutely seen enough.

In his first three years, Brian Kelly has posted a record similar to Nick Saban’s during his first three years at LSU. Kelly has never claimed that the program is where it needs to be; he has consistently said it’s 1-2 years away. The team currently lacks depth and has limited first-level talent on defense. Add to that a first-year defensive coordinator and two first-year co-offensive coordinators, and it’s clear the system is still being developed.

Regarding the quarterback situation, Nussmeier has regressed, and he’s not the type of QB who thrives in today’s SEC. A mobile quarterback is essential for success in the modern game, which is why Kelly prioritized recruiting Jayden Daniels in the first place.

While it’s true that Saban replaced OCs and DCs frequently, the difference is that Saban’s system was already firmly in place, making transitions smoother. Establishing a system takes time, and it’s unrealistic to expect a fully established program in just three years.

I guess if I were making a guaranteed $10 million a year and not getting it done, I’d feel comfortable regurgitating this crap every week too.

Stop with this shite. Please stop.

Saban took over a team coming off 3 winning seasons in the previous 10 years including two straight losing seasons and our last SEC title over a decade earlier and NC over 40 years earlier.

Saban also did not have a blank check to hire and fire staff left and right. He actually kept continuity in the coaching ranks and his side of th ball continued to improve each year.

He also did not have the ability to buy players, free transfer to fill holes with college proven talent, and Kelly has a team coming off an NC and SEC title just 3 seasons prior to his arrival.

It is in no way the same.

Which one won the SEC and Sugar Bowl (when Bowls meant something) in year 2?

The problem is the defense fellas and a non-mobile QB. If you are selling your season tickets please let me know because I will buy them. Have seen a lot of coaches since 89 and he will get it together . I’m also as disappointed as you professional scouts.

Dude frick this whole fricking bull shite post. He’ll always be 1-2 years away, I’m sick of that. And any coordinator with a damn will only stick around for 1-2 years anyway, so he or any other coach worth a damn has to deal with.

Man said judge him by year 3, that’s exactly what we’re doing. Survey says - HE SUCKS

LSU offense had 24 third downs last night. Somehow we actually converted 13 of them but the offense is consistently getting behind the sticks on early downs and it makes things very difficult to execute consistently on third and long. Particularly if we’re losing late. 24 third downs is insane.

Not much else he can say.

Both sides of the ball are putrid.

Coaching, play calling and execution are bad.

Maybe there's toxicity in the locker room and maybe his name isn't Brian Kelly.

Dudes aren’t playing hard for BK. I won’t be surprised if we drop one to Vandy or OU as we struggle to stay at .500

Kelly is full of shite, he can take this style of football straight back to south bend. The deer in the headlights look three games in a row ain’t fixing LSU’s core problems. We’re not getting better throughout the year, literally getting worse.

I’m judging him because it’s year 3.
