Oh yes. I feel so bad for the guy.

NOT

Guy makes millions and millions but he won’t win a national title.

Boo fricking hoo.

You know who is soft? You OP. Soft as soft serve ice cream.

I bet you still think the players actually give a shite about LSU.

I’m glad that he’s gone. I believe that LSU will eventually be a better team because he is gone. But I feel no animosity towards him. That’s just weird. I never believed that he was a good fit at LSU. But I always hoped he would win.

I wish him well. He’s going to be fine. LSU will be fine too.

I just don’t understand the hate. I don’t remember fans doing this in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.

Gambling and money has ruined college sports.

Yes, we have many truly retarded fans like the one you quoted.

It’s a very toxic, shitty fan base at times like this.

Opinions will be more even-keel once people are done reacting and the catharsis of the initial news is out of the way.

He stabilized the program. We’re in a better spot than we were when he arrived, maybe not W-L but infrastructure and organization yes. He did some things well.

Two very bad coordinator hires did him in + some very bizarre personnel management this season.

I don’t think he came here to fail, but I don’t think he really gave it his all either. Seemed pretty checked out and detached here lately.

the guy has worked 30+ years towards achieving a life goal and has now come to the realization that he will never achieve it. Yes, much of it was his own fault, but that sucks for him.

What a load a shite. He deserves the ridicule for his nasty persona and blatant disrespect for the public. No one is gonna feel bad for me never realizing my dream of shooting par from the tips. And I’m not near as big a prick as Kelly. And I don’t get $50M for my failures.

I agree his wife and family should be off limits. But he’s earned the derision he’s getting. Only concession I’ll make is to say by midweek, we need to move on and leave CBK in the archives.

Either mods are friends with him or he’s threatened some sort of legal action. I don’t get it

The guy is millions richer I'm sure he'll be okay.

Wish I could fail at life goals and still come away millions richer.

Were you on staff at ND or LSU to speak on either situation?

No? Didn't think so.

The standard of care that GB received was appropriate. He was treated faster than any non-athlete or you or I would be. It is unfortunate that he had a rare illness but that isn't on BK or the assistants.

He made more than anyone here will ever make just to be fired. frick that dude.

He didn’t give a damn about LSU and we shouldn’t give a damn about him. Hope he found a pube in his food.

That has to be weird. To still live in this city after being fired. I'd probably hop the first plane out to somewhere just to get away.

His 1st couple years gave promise, he tried to make the team better with his $. Baby and bathwater at this point. Time for him to go.

Suprised LSU fired him. I thought we were in this debacle/misery for a few more years. Glad we're not.

I agree. He's a football coach who tried but couldn't do it here. He was well compensated for it and we need to move on. I don't harbor ill will to the guy. What's the point? Good luck to him. Why spend time being mad at him for it?

F that, call me spoiled because you get asked routine questions about obvious flaws in your football team you get millions of dollars to manage…he deserves the criticism.

I don’t pretend to know him personally and I agree 100% but for that much money sorry you got to perform at a very elite level not just good or very good.

If we were friends I would probably really like him. I think the older coaches just can’t overcome NIL at this point for the most part. Just like the GOAT Saban could not. Times have truly changed. IMO

It's just another reason on a long list of why people believe we have the worst fan base. I agree with your post.
