I realize NIL is here to stay but LSU needs to come up with a better overall plan

instead of the nickel and dime price tag they put on fans.
First off, I have to pay the TAF fee to buy season tickets.
Then you get hit up from the collective bombardment emails and the 100 year campaign.
Now, they want me to donate per win and per touchdown.
It's really counterproductive.
What's next, a fee tacked on to parking and concessions with money earmarked for NIL.
Maybe they can collect a dollar for every bathroom trip you make in athletic venues.

The latest email I got:

We're excited to invite you to take part in our Pledge Per Win campaign for the 2024 season. By pledging $1 or more for each Tiger victory or touchdown, you're making a powerful impact on LSU student-athlete scholarships through Team TAF.

Enhance Your Impact: Double your pledge for key games against Alabama, Texas A&M and any postseason games!

Exclusive 100 Years of Tiger Stadium Merchandise:
• Pledge at least $5 per win and receive a commemorative 100 Years of Tiger Stadium lapel pin.
Commit to $100 per win or more and get the lapel pin plus an exclusive, premium gift celebrating the stadium's centennial.

What do you suggest?

The current plan is what other schools are doing and doing successful. Instead of leaning on big donors to give 10k+ they are giving opportunities for everybody to give as little as like $10.

Like I said, I don't have a problem with giving, it's the fifteen different things that don't stop.
Why not tack it all in with the TAF fees you have to pay.
Add an extra amount on that.

Trust me. The last thing you want is NicholasTiger using his brains to come up with a solution to anything.

Wait till you see an NIL surcharge on tickets. An extra million per game will get out next 5 star QB. Maybe not QB but a LT at least. Prob a deep snapper if im being honest.

All these reasons are why we gave up our season tickets.

at one point, Ole MIss and LSU had the similar total NIL money. LSU had lik 20+ donors and OM had 5000. Nickel and dime works better. $20/month from 5000 is much safer from one person pulling out and crippling you.

Also, that email is giving you an option. not demanding you do it. Stop yelling at clouds.

I will go to as many games as possible and drink as many $15 beers in TS as possible. When I don't go to the games, I will watch on my YT tv subscription. I will occasionally buy a few LSU pfgs at academy or maybe a high quality lsu polo at albertsons. Oh and my car insurance is out the arse because of turds like Gordon. I won't even get into Graves and his chicken prices. And now they want me to pay the players directly? No ownership or ROI? They want us to "pledge" like they're running some sort of fricking charity.

I'm not happy with the current environment of college football/ sports with NIL but will see how it plays out this year and next.

If they do this then I'm out as a season ticket holder.

You are complaining that they are giving you the option to give extra money? You instead want them to force everyone to pay that extra? I've got to be missing something here. You are actually upset that they are not forcing you to pay extra money?

Do you really think we have a top 3 recruiting class with the #1 recruit in the nation by having a weak NIL plan?

Because that would be illegal, for one thing.

It’s all about to change again with revenue sharing though.

All of those guys just love LSU. We don't recruit guys who are looking for a bag
