Not to mention his personal life at home.

It’s just a shitty year.
This fanbase has an engrained history of catastrophe syndrome.
Saban said that 20 years ago.

Still true today.

you never thought he would win the first time either huh?

so no chance moving forward like with your boy miles? not even a shot at more hardware? no shot?

nah the fact O changed when needed and made a good hire based on resume with matt and did not work out due to personal differences then went and got brady makes him way better than miles. miles changed?

you are a fn moron if you think miles evolved like O did. new york dumbfrick. shocked. just shocked.

add players not really motivated to put in the work after winning it all. Saban said years ago it's extremely difficult to get 18-22 yr olds to come back with the same motivation coming off a national title. I think he would know.

I agree with you for sure. Les didn’t have to deal with Covid or opt outs either. Ppl can say what they want about coach O but that man had to deal with a lot this year.

Covid
No camps to help with recruiting
No unofficial or official visits to help with recruiting
He lost 34 guys from his championship team
Lost the PGC and DC really wasn’t able to do a DC search.
Lost a lot of coaches besides positional coaches.
A lot of transfers
Starting qb gets hurt
Just a bad year for LSU we will bounce back GEAUX TIGERS

but but MILES WAS A GOOD MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ever hear of a little thunderstorm called Katrina?

1st game cancelled (technically postponed to the bye week later in year)
entire campus turned into a triage unit.
players having family from all over crammed into their dorms with them.
next game moved clean across the country
Rita comes in and moves yet another game.
no bye weeks.

11-2 that year.

so let's not act like this is the first time LSU has to face some adversity off the field.

um these were true for every school, not just LSU

I live in Louisiana and wasn’t effected by Katrina at all.
Have been with this covid BS though.

Nice try.

katrina was nothing compared to O fighting covid, BLM, clark undermining program, opt outs...what have we lost now? 40 players? starter at Qb. it was the perfect shitstorm.

so every other program lost 40? had ex plyers undermining program? and had the same level of other issues? it is all relative.

Les was a worse coach than Eaux.

Honestly, who gives a shite who’s better???

99% of the time when Miles is brought up on this board these days it’s by O apologists trying to deflect from whatever disaster O has done that day.

Miles was fricking fired so saying well Les did this or that and comparing the two isn’t fricking relevant to whether or not O is a good coach or what this program needs to thrive long term.

It’s a clear sign O bots are nervous and trying to shift the spotlight light from him.

No, and he proved me wrong. So what? Idiots like you who think that we didn't enjoy the hell out of last year are sad. Imagine, in the midst of our greatest year, you still have room to think of fans who didn't want O as coach (and think that this somehow validates your life). Pathetic and sad.

Where did I say this? You're delusional. And I wanted Miles fired by the way.

What? Stop making stuff up. Miles was fired precisely because he would not evolve.

I love Les but he needed to go after the 2012 season.
