Please leave Nocturnal Tiger alone. He is learning. Everyone in in both states are looking forward to tonight's game.

I still find being a passionate fan somewhat puzzling and sometimes disturbing.

We can all scream from the top of our lungs "We're gonna kick your butts." Or... "We kicked your butts."

"We" is always stupid, and being somewhat acquainted with the best most successful athlete you have ever met won't necessarily get you a meal.

I once shook hands with Willie Nelson. Great memory for me. There is a slight possibility he remembers that dumbass in Portland who approached him, but I doubt it.

Why would you root for a fan in the first place?

So it's root, root, root for faa-aan If he doesn't win it's a shame!

In some sports the only fans are the athletes.

Like Oregon State baseball.

When you win your first College World Series, maybe you can attempt to try to say that, but LSU has 2 home stadiums. Baton Rouge, and Rosenblatt. and don't even try to pull yours out to measure on the table, because you will only get embarrassed.

This is what i am for you.

When your fans return home from here, ask them about the passion of LSU baseball fans. They love us. Well, that and all the fried shrimp & catfish & boudin balls & beer they drank. And drank.

I guess if a bunch of dorks sipping coffee before the game is "passion", then we dont know what it is! Soccer is simply a recreational activity that is played by 5'7" guys that were not good enough or big enough to make it in football, baseball, basketball!!! Spare us! Soccer...

So, in conclusion... The quote in the OP is correct in assuming its nothing like they've played in front of before.

Besides the fact that they've won 2 CWS titles, which guy earlier didn't know, baseball is different than football when it comes to crowds because communication isn't done much verbally.

There is no better feeling in the world than taking the mound in a hostile environment. Almost better than pitching at home.

Of course he did. Teams always say beforehand it won't matter and we all damn well know it will.

Heard Mike Parker say on air that some Beaver players' parents got invited to a LSU tailgate after the Belmont game yesterday. Said they were treated like royalty.

I believe there is a distinct LSU presence in Omaha whether the team is there or not.

My point was to point out the stupid errors in the OP post. They do not play the CWS at Rossenblatt anymore.

What is it about these Oregon State fans? Are they ALL competing for the " Biggest Douche in the English-Speaking World " or something?

Must be so. I guess the reason why they are trying so hard at Douchey-ness around here is because of all the tough competition from England.
