So it lost its groove.

Amazing.

Here is what I know. I listened to Prairie Home Companion yesterday live from Shreveport and the audience was amazing.

I know also that Stony Brook is a GREAT STORY. Go to Science Friday NPR website and look for "What is a Flame".

And still....despite it asll, I saw Pete Maravich hit 30-31 Freet Throws in Corvallis ....and YOU DIDN'T.

Great Season, but now I have to root for Stony Brook and hopefully Kent State in Omaha.

In the beginning, Mr. T created the heavens and the earth. And Mr. T said, "Let there be fools", and there were fools. And Mr. T saw that the fools were bad, and he pitied them.

And sent them to Spokane?
Please leave Nocturnal Tiger alone. He is learning. Everyone in in both states are looking forward to tonight's game.

I still find being a passionate fan somewhat puzzling and sometimes disturbing.

We can all scream from the top of our lungs "We're gonna kick your butts." Or... "We kicked your butts."

"We" is always stupid, and being somewhat acquainted with the best most successful athlete you have ever met won't necessarily get you a meal.

I once shook hands with Willie Nelson. Great memory for me. There is a slight possibility he remembers that dumbass in Portland who approached him, but I doubt it.

It is correct. But pullease, even Georgia came to Portland a few years ago for a 3 game series.

This little Portland Stadium is no longer configured for baseball, but you people can learn a little bit about what being a fan is all about.

You think you have an idea what passion is. Take a look at this.

I'm not a big soccer fan, but these people KNOW how to be fans. Tiger bait my arse. But good luck tomorrow, I always root for the athletes, not so much the fans.
"They've never seen anything like that before. They have never have played in front of as many people as they will tomorrow."

Will there be a buzzillion fans tomorrow night?

Or just 10,400?

Looking forward to a possible meeting tomorrow night.

Please try not to beat OSU 44-1.

Good luck.
You really need to follow the conversation. Reply to me and teach me. You seem smart. Reply to this post, BUT, change the title of the subject line.

Can't do it?

Every other board I have ever seen allows it.

WTF are YOU talking about?
TEST TEST TEST.. Gonna try to change the subject, after I post it, and EDIT it to NAKED DANCING.

At least it LOOKED possible for a moment.
There is only one Jacoby I follow in baseball.
No problem kid. Keep em coming. LSU fans will be overjoyed two OSU fans waste their space attempting to crash it. (meekly looking at my feet. "I'm sorry LSU fans, I didn't mean it. Have pity on us. Just don't kick our asses and make me watch it on televison.)

GO BEAVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alter is for people I assume, who take better picture but post bad ones.

The really lousy thing about this board I do not like. Why can you not reply and change the title of the original subject?

I would have changed this subject in my reply to "NAKED DANCING" and it would have been the most viewed topic of the day.
GoBeavs93? 93? Ninety effing three?

I will sell you my user name if the offer is sufficient. JK.

Nice link. Weird I read it here.

Sounds like Fry and Wetzler. Bens a battler, but I hope he he isn't worried about finals and term papers.

LSU fans have no idea OSU has a pitcher clocked at 97- 99- 100 mph within the last few weeks. Hope he gets a chance to close.
Thanks for the invite. I have a second job which allows me to probably watch the entire game on television.

The problem I have discovered many years ago, no matter what I am watching, be it sports or whatever, at the ABSOLUTE most important moment, somebody calls and wants to book a tee time. (You can play in Oregon until about 9:15pm these days.)
quote:

Damn, y'all have a series butthurt complex about that school over there

Exactly. It is a series of serious butt hurts. How many swooshes do you have in your closet?

NikeU gets a 5th national seed but can't quite win the conference. Here is the ending of game 2 of that series. The final pitch of the game, OSU up 3-2.

As it appeared on television:

That comment was noted on the Pure Orange baseball message board. The discussion then veered completely away from baseball to airplanes and lift vs humidity.
The Beavs are in Louisiana. (Best thing about this is the video of Darwin Barney's Walk Off Homerun the other night for the Cubs.)

and....

Somehow,I think Belmont might be getting a little irritated at everyone talking about LSU vs OSU.

Have a great time if you are are going to the game. I get to miss the telecast for work, but will be checking in constantly on the internet.
