Were you in the bathroom when he had a rec wide open for a long TD and JD floated it about 10 yards short?

On his second drive we had the longest pass play of the year. On his 3rd drive we had the longest running play of the year. Both vs the best D in the country. This is what happens when you’re not playing in a 10 yard box on offense.

I'm not sure you haven't taken the very good half by nuss the hardest of anyone on the board. You have been in every thread shitting on nuss.

Nuss showed some great stuff but don’t underestimate the “backup factor” against the defense. Georgia planned a defense against a running QB without a deep ball game.

Had they prepped for a gunslinger he may have been much more limited. See Matt Flynn going in for Aaron Rogers and setting Packer records.

They didn’t know Daniels wasn’t 100%? They had no idea the backup might have to play, and had no game plan for him?

This is an overstatement. We don’t give credit for teams ability to adjust to any situation. The defense is either playing some form of man to man or zone. It’s not like they need a whole week to adjust a game plan. These adjustments can be made easily within the game. If you ask coaches this question directly, it’s pretty much a non issue. If I had to make one assessment of JD going out is they have one more defender who isn’t spying the QB and being completely taken out of defending the pass.

There's no thinking about it. He absolutely gave up on it. Look at his reaction immediately after. Says it all.

Daniels passed for 208 in the first half alone on a bad ankle against a defense that was giving up 196 yards per game for the season so let's not overstate this.
43 of those yards were all Boutte since that pass traveled 10 yards like 90% of his throws.

An occasional under thrown pass doesn't mean no arm strength. Where were you when he was throwing darts all over the field?

Yes, they all are, and so was Nussmeier.

No he wasn’t. JD got hurt on the previous play and there was no stoppage. He came right off the bench.

If he would have adjusted, it may well have been intercepted.
