It depends on what happens the next three games.

There's a risk to that though. What if O pulls off a miracle and wins that game? Then we're stuck with him. The chances are 1 in 1000 though.

I think we give Ensminger or whoever may be the interim the off week to try to get up to speed.

All I know is this: I do NOT want EdO recruiting for Ole MIss, or Bama, or UGA, or A&M or Texas or Oklahoma in 2022. His exit agreement better include a clause forbidding him for working for SEC teams (incl UTX and OU) for 5 years.

That is the only one I thought could handle it but I thought he was done and walked off the consulting position because of how things were being done on offense. Is he even around the program right now? Either way, I would hope he would take in that thankless miserable job. I don’t know see how anyone that wanted out would want to come back for this train wreck. But I do agree he would be the first call to step I.

The only reason to fire him is if there is a better coach available and not just “better” but championship caliber better.

-------------------------------------------------------

The guy will just continue to generate more fodder for the top recruiting teams to shite on LSU and encourage top players to stay far away . . . Cut out the Cancer.

"Just another guy" is probably better than what we have now.

Absolutely. Woddy don’t like him and he’s losing. Bad combination for O.

Who gets the interim job

Everyone is saying Ensminger - would he even take it?

Another name that everyone points to is Corey Raymond. But Mickey Joseph is the current Assistant Head Coach.

I think this problem is the reason we won't see a trigger pull as fast as the fans will want.

At about 95% it’s happening this year.

Good news because there are at least thirty upgrades available right now

Yes. He's gone. It's just when, not if. Who will be his replacement? Jimbo, Woodward's boy, has turned out to be somewhat of a bust at ATM.

And here is why programs get mired in mediocrity

Lack of long term thoughtful hiring. They just churn and spin wheels without focusing on getting the right person to take a job.
