if he can't get a team to play better defense than what we've seen so far tonight - like we've seen too often this year - we're not going to meet the lofty expectations that everyone's hoping for and expecting.

Again, we were historically bad defensively last year. It takes time to break some bad habits.

This team doesn't have one player outside of waters and rief that should be on an sec team. Yet he won 8 sec games. Will be fun to watch next year

This site is too emotional. Next year we will have a totally different caliber of talent and guys Wade recruited for his style of coaching. He took lemons and made lemonade this year. Poor ending to an overachieving year.

I agree. He has had over 30 games to prove he can transform marginal talent into a defensive machine. And he has failed. Just need to cut ties now before he ruins these 5 stars coming in.

He's still trying to coach through the JJ leftovers. Once Wade gets his recruits on board, there should be a significant difference. The JJ teachings still show up sometimes such as tonight.
