How anyone could be ok with what the government is doing regarding his firearm is beyond me as an American. But then again, there are complete helpless boobs in every society like yourself, Lester.
If I wanted my gun back I’d eat the charge.
Then again, I’d never be in that situation to begin with, because I’m not a criminal & I know the gun laws

Amazing to me that you consider a person a criminal for simply carrying a firearm.

The law is you cannot carry a concealed weapon unless you have a concealed carry permit. That is the law. Nobody is against the kid carrying a firearm.

Well that didn't happen here. He voluntarily gave his gun to the government.

Concealing a firearm without a permit
The way God intended
Was this a stop and frisk?
Why the search?
Just by seeing a shape gives reason to search a person?

You cant conceal carry in Louisiana until you're 21.

I'm no fan of the government hoarding firearms, and yes I do understand the point of NOPD's program. I just think they should be forced to record ballistics, serial numbers, and any details about a firearm they seize, then destroy or permanently disable it.
But Nabers gave this up willingly, and smartly, given the potential headline.

The governor has nothing to do with this situation.

You must have missed the part where I was replying to a post about Louisiana NOT being a "constitutional carry" state and the fact that Gov Honor Code vetoed legislation that would have made the state such. Try to keep up.

You must have missed the part where the legislation he vetoed would have still required you to be 21 to carry a handgun without a permit. It also would have still been illegal to carry at a parade.

My post didn't touch on any of that. I simply pointed out that the reason Louisiana isn't a "constitutional carry" state is because of the POS Gov Honor Code. If you want to go ahead and admit that your original reply to my post was off base that would be fine.

You just have missed the point that Nabers is only 19.

So your post had nothing to do with the actual topic of the thread. Got it. My bad.

No, I was fully aware of that fact. I just think JBE is a POS for vetoing constitutional carry and was pointing out such. Thanks for the concern though.

Glad you figured it out. It’s ok, we all make mistakes sometimes. I forgive you.
