I have never seen another team outside LSU that consistently suck at the Bunt.

Upvote but it looks like a hard hit single in the box score

It’s a double edged sword here - we recruit maulers who probably haven’t had to bunt most of their career. If we start recruiting them, then the complaints will be that we’re playing small ball and back in the PM days.

I'll take a kid who can smash 20+ homers a year over a kid who can lay down a good bunt every time.

You are kinda right, but I’d almost bet my life you don’t watch any other CBB team as closely as you watch LSU

Looked very close to being an out like others in years past.
It’s never in our skill set.

This team should ban the bunt and swing the bat!

Milazzo is just outmatched at the plate and actually shrinks to the challenge as well.

I for one don’t won’t it to be! If it is then you are playing small ball and that will never work in todays baseball

Oh I get it and not mad cause I rather like power more, just thinking if we suck at something hmmm why not just try to hit it instead.

Milazzo has 2 safety squeeze bunts so far, one scoring 2 runs. Who else do you want to give up his swings for a bunt? Thompson, maybe? CJJ has given the same answer to this question since the Fall .He does not want to give up a power" swing. I'll take his game management over anyone here. Averaging a League best 11 runs per game. What are we missing? CPM's teams, yea.

I’ve watched a lot of baseball.

There are many many many teams and players that struggle getting the bunt down in the appropriate situation.
