No, I've come up with this information by listening and observing.

How do you know this? Where have they ever said this?

Read tea leaves. It's been leaked that Heath Schroyer (McNeese AD) is coming to BR in some capacity. He is the person that brought Wade to McNeese and took the chance on him. They are very close.

Lee Mallett wanted to fire Woodward for not hiring Wade. He's now Chair of the BOS.

There are other reasons I know these things but just look at what is obvious. It's really not a big secret at this point.

I have been pretty consistent ( you can check) and as forthcoming as I can be without outing my sauce---but I have it from someone who heard it from the lips of CWW himself-- conversations with "the powers that be" have been had, figures have been discussed, timelines have been discussed, all parties want to re-unite. It may happen on April 2nd. If not, then it may drag out until next year. But from what I have heard, when CMM gets fired, it will be CWW who replaces him. Period. If I hear otherwise I will absolutely update this board. I have no reason to lie.

People on here beg for information and then crucify the people who share what they know.

If I'm guessing, the decision has already been made to keep McMahon.

A week or two will go by and then an announcement will be made.

If it’s true that they plan to retain McMahon, wouldn’t it be best to put rumors to rest and make it official? The speculation hurts perception McMahon is their guy. I believe they stated McMahon would return with increased NIL before last season was over. I am sauceless but I believe your speculation is logically flawed. If they make a statement retaining McMahon in a few weeks I think it would most likely mean a swing and a miss on a different coach or begrudging acceptance of the status quo. If they know they’re running it back with McMahon, the statement would have already been issued.

I read somewhere the cost to make the move drops significantly on April 1st.

Pretty fair response, thank you. I don’t follow basketball very close so it always just seemed like a hopeless pipe dream to me

Still seems kind of far fetched, but my previous opinion of it being impossibly retarded was wrong

I'm trying still to figure out if people are serious about this or are they all just trolling.

There is absolutely zero chance Wade would leave NC State for LSU.

I think they want enough time to go by so that the public reaction is muted to a degree. They know it’s not going to be popular.

Heard on Moscona that we spend more than only 2 SEC teams in basketball.

It’s not just getting rid of McMahon (which is a 9M price tag). You also have to hire someone. And you’d have to commit to spending more.

I don’t think LSU is interested in doing that right now. I’m guessing that’s a year or two away.

I could see this being the play here. This is on brand for our weak leadership who loves poking the eyes out of the fans. They truly don’t care about the fans at all.

The LSU athletic department is fine letting the men’s basketball program rot. They’re fine letting the rest of the SEC get better & better while we keep this self-sabotage going. What a shame.

Not if you want to keep any potential candidate still coaching in tournament happy and wanting to avoid the same media circus that surrounded Kiffin.

I think this is going to be the norm. Things are changing. You have to decide where to focus your resources.
