I don't think it's the players that play any worse once they put a different jersey number on. I think it's some of the idiotic arse fans we have, that think that unless whoever is wearing #7 is getting 3 INTs, 4 sacks, 20 tackles and 2 forced fumbles a game that they are playing bad.

I will say that these guys seem to have more fun than any LSU crew I remember while still managing to remain focused on their duties.
And I sure hope he does just what they are saying, if Chase has 1600 yards and 16 touchdowns through thew first four games that would bode well for LSU to say the least.

Stingley was offered #7 out of HS but rightly wanted to not be handed anything. I'd bet him and Chase stay at their numbers.
