Seems like Brian Kelly essentially pulled a shooter McGavin. He was fine with the praise from the LSU fanbase in the early years but under the surface always looked down on us. Once the losses started to mount though, his true side came out and it became the fanbase vs him in his mind. I think Kelly is a smart enough guy to know the offense stinks and it was MORE than reasonable for Scott to demand Sloan be fired but he took that opportunity to take the money and run, especially with the rebuild coming next year.

He definitely wanted to get fired and bought out. His press conference after the game the other night was a man who wanted nothing to do with fixing this team or this program going forward.

Watched a video of him on IG a bit earlier where he was coming into the football offices alone last night and he looked defeated. Some lady who was walking by muttered something to him but it was unclear what she said. Maybe was just saying hi.

One could take the opposite view, and say it was a shrewd move by Kelly. He had a ridiculous rock solid guaranteed contract. If he was over it and ready to retire, then being a douche and making LSU fire you is genius.

Actually, Kelly is no more of an arrogant douche than most coaches...Sarkasan, Kiffin, Sweeney, Petrino, Freeze, Spurrier, etc. I believe that is a requirement to become a head coach at a major university. You and some others are just too sensitive and expecting too much.

Your take is just silly. Hey, just say "I despise the guy" and let it go at that. He was NOT walking arrogantly IMO and he was not marching and swinging his right arm may be the way he and many other people walk. You and some others are microanalyzing everything. Sorry man, it is downright silly!
