Thatcher Hurd gets the start tonight. 11 MPH North wind going straight to right field to start the game. North to Northwest winds 8-10 MPH for the night. Left handed batters and opposite field right hand hitters, it's time to shine. Hurd, do your thing big guy. Bats, do your thing. Let’s fricking GEAUX!

I'm mixed. Skenes is used to starting and the routine and not used to coming into a pressure situation. It's a different mindset.
But Skenes has the bulldog mentality and will likely relish coming in mid game or for a save. It would be really cool if he is on the mound with the lead in the 9th and gets the save.

You're gonna bash people for making a decision to not risk hundreds of millions of dollars after the kid has thrown nearly 300 pitches in a little over a week....how entitled are fricking LSU fans...Skenes nor his people owe LSU anything.
