LSU has over 31,000,000 logical reasons NOT to leave the SEC.
But go ahead and keep up the reactionary indignation. It's amusing.

No, Never, Ever. We are an original member of the best, most profitable conf. in America, so frick NO.

Agreed. However, IF we were to leave it should be the ACC. They would take us in a heartbeat. Open up new markets for ACC. It would be nice to use it as a bargaining chip at least. We are as valuable to the SEC as they are to us. Also, if we wanted to join the Big 12 they would make it happen, period.

LSU is a founding charter member.

Kind of hard to walk away.

It's past time for the SEC office and commissioner Sankey to show some respect to LSU. LSU is not Alabama's (or Florida's or....) little brother. If the SEC doesn't appreciate LSU, then we should leave for another conference.

Big 12 makes the most sense.... athlete recruiting in Texas, TV audience and the money would be the same.

LSU leaves (with another SEC school like Arkansas) the Big 12 will rise in stature and the SEC would be diminished.

I'm good with having a lot of conversation about moving to the Big 12.

Not open to it at all. Big 12 has shitty road games, and the ACC wouldn't take us even if we wanted to go. PAC 12 is too far.

So the logic is that its okay if we get screwed by the SEC refs and scheduling every year as long as we get paid?

Unfortunately, the Big 12 would be the only real option for LSU.

I think the ACC would be an option I would endorse.

That's absolutely stupid! Big 12 minus two a big mess within themselves. ACC better than Big 12.

Leaving for the Texas conference, would be like going from pot to fire. I would advocate for an SEC mutiny against Sankey.

TRUTH: "We (LSU) are as valuable to the SEC as they are to us."

Better recruiting (every sport) in TX... move to Big 12. If LSU were to enter the Big 12, the media money would be the same as SEC is today.

There are more high schools in Houston than in all of Louisiana. I'd be they would even rotate the Big 12 conference championship to New Orleans too.

If LSU left the SEC it would have a profoundly negative effect on LSU. On theother hand it would have only a slight effect on the SEC. The SEC would continue to be the strongest conference.

Also, these thoughts arise from insecure fools thinking LSU is a second rate SEC team because the SEC is against us. The reality is that LSU is a second tier SEC team because our performance places us there. No reason to blame the SEC.

We'd get screwed in the Big 12 too. That league is run by Texas. We'd get paid less, still get screwed, and have to travel to gorgeous locations like
Aimes, IA
Lawrence, KS
Manhatten, KS
Lubbock, TX
Waco, TX

The only good road trips in the conference are OU, WVU, and UT. That's it.

Would you rather see LSU play this conference schedule:
Miss State
Auburn
Mizzou
Florida
Ole Miss
Alabama
Arkansas
Texas A&M

Or this schedule:
Iowa State
Kansas
Kansas State
Oklahoma State
Texas Tech
TCU
Baylor
Texas

I'd rather play in Texas than in the ACC.

I'd rather win a Big 12 conference and reach the playoffs more often.

As long as the SEC front office stacks the deck against everybody but Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tenn... Then Im for a move.

I'm an LSU fan, not an SEC fan

I'm an LSU fan. I don't pull for any other team. I have no loyalty to any conference. The Bama bias is too real to deny. I wouldn't care if we left at all. We clearly have no say in anything in the SEC.
