First, this is of course purely hypothetical just for intetest. I'm not advocating that LSU leave the SEC.

Now, would you be open to the idea? Say open hostility breaks out between Sankey and the rest of the Birmingham brass and Alleva and Alexander.

Are you open to the idea of LSU in the Big 12? Playing Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Baylor, and Texas every year? Perhaps beginning a season ending rivalry with Texas?

Big 12 would probably love to have LSU. What do you think? Hell no...maybe...love it?

Sankey is a little bitch, but money talks. We're not leaving, not even debatable really.

LSU has gotten screwed over the the SEC for years.

Unfortunately, the Big 12 would be the only real option for LSU.

No, but I do think there needs to a "rotating" system like every two years so as to allow more of a variety of venues and equality in play.
The SEC Championship game seldom has the two best teams.

Not now. Not ever. SEC is the holy grail of college football. Enjoy it.

The only way this could work is for some very important people to secretly contact 12-16 schools to gauge their interest in starting an entirely new "super" conference, leaving out such "cheaters" as bama, auburn, a&m,etc.

No. That's stupid.

Get it together. Act like grownups and hash it out. It's not in the long term interests of LSU athletics to leave the SEC despite Tiger fans non-stop "everyone hates us" hissy fits.

Except the big 12 just voted against expansion. So, there's that.
