I think it's both. Also, Ole Miss lined up poorly on defense. On a couple of those runs they were just outnumbered over there.
I'm guessing that when their safety came up their two linebackers should have shifted to the left. I read that our coaches noticed that on film study of Ole Miss....

Lofting is drafting difficult curved surfaces. It would be counterproductive to have your defensive linemen working on drafting techniques at practices. It would, however, give them a possible career alternative if the NFL doesn't work out....

The main difference is that if a defense stacks the box we're passing. That forces the safeties back, then we gash them. Bama is very good at stopping folks from running without stacking the box, so we'll see how...
