Holy cow. It kills me that people think Faulk was a Tiger in '03. Our that we won championship in any of the previous 40+ years.

Which is why you see(AFL). Which means he won a couple of AFL world championships prior to the Super Bowl years. The leagues were split and both proclaimed themselves world champs in those days. Which is what led to the NFL throwing down the gauntlet and coming up with the AFL-NFL world championship game as part of the pre-merger agreement. It wasn't even officially called the Super Bowl until 1970. But back to the point, Cannon did win a couple of rings that were considered world championships by his league.
