We did not have the talent for the last three or four years on the line of scrimmage and or at QB. If we had last years defensive line we would have lost that game.

I’m an LSU fan. Who the coach is doesn’t affect me and they don’t consult me on hiring/firing.

Mike Archer went 10-1-1 and finished #5 1 year and won the SEC the next. I did not expect to win yesterday so kudos to O, it’s always fun to beat Auburn but the goal was always to build a program that contends on a consistent basis.

Major props.the Game plan was solid, and lsu executed and did their job. LSU has Auburn's number currently and Auburn is 0-2 vs O's Tigers and 9-3 in the last 12. I think there might have been 2 wtf moments yesterday including the jump pass. Many teams would have quit yesterday, LSU continued to play mad, with a chip on their shoulder and honestly the gutsiest performance I have seen by LSu in years O has come full circle on his responses to media questions. Last year he kinda filibustered at times. He cuts through the BS that I love. Fully won over? Yep.. but as fans I cannot say there won't be times where we fans have a wtf moment but that's common with any fanbase. Enjoying each week. Prior years its been painful at times. Keep digging and improving.

Of somehow that kid from Texas is exonerated in the near future, and we have the OL we planned on, I think the missing link, the running game, could get to a respected point which will help Burrow and his completion %s.

Great job of putting a plan together that allowed the OL to hold their own against Auburn’s front.

He’s exceeded all of my expectations at this point in the season.

We are clearly at the upper end of the second tier of SEC teams. Call me a negative Nancy but I did not expect that prior to the season. Props to O.

Sadly we haven’t even gotten close to the meat of the schedule. Time will tell if we are a contender.

Here’s to hoping that we go out there Saturday and hang 50 on La. Tech.

And was an abrasive coach to fans, failed to recruit and was even dumb enough to show up at an LSU golf tournament in Tulane colors and when asked, he said he wears LSU colors all during the season and gets tired of those colors... I shite you not.

Coach O may or may not follow Archer's W/L record, but he is nothing like Archer.

Objectively, this game didn't really do much to change my opinion. I'll watch things play out.

I was a little young but remember my Dad saying Archer was a
goon when it came to media relations and recruiting.

I know my opinion doesn’t matter but...

I won’t say I’m completely won over. But yesterday earned him a ton of respect and for the first time since he was hired I don’t think the wheels are about to completely come off the bus and we might actually be trending in the right direction.

That said, I’d like to see more consistency. I’d really like to come out next week and dominate La Tech like this team is capable of.

Still not sure E is a long term answer at OC, but I’m not about to undersell how big the win was yesterday.

Now they just have to build on it.

I think it’s a weekly process...just like any relationship. Do I have a little more trust in him? Yes. A lot? Not yet. If any of a dozen plays/penalties go differently...then the narrative is completely changed. I still only truly have confidence because of Aranda and Cole.

I've always been an O supporter, mainly because I always believe in the Tigers.

Call me a PosiTiger or whatever, but I've been a fan since I was a kid, and at almost 60, although I understand big-time athletics much more deeply than when I was a kid, I'm still a fan and I love the Tigers.

But going into this year we had serious doubts involving both lines, QB, RB, inexperienced secondary and receivers, special teams, OC and play calling, injuries, suspensions, recruiting, etc, etc, etc. Doubt all over the place. People "what iffing" ever possible scenario.

But while no team, staff or coach is perfect, LSU has CLEARLY made major improvements in every phase of the game, and if not completely answering the doubts and doubters, then certainly giving cause for hope in a very bright future. And whether or not you believe it, this ALL starts at the top.

There is still lots of football to be played this year, but DAMN, I'm behind this team 100%, and would run through a wall for O, just like all his players.

In fact, I should enroll and walk on. I think I've still got a play left in me..!!

All in, Baby...!!!!

Go Tigers...!!

nah dude. it's a good start, i'm happy they won, but it's 3 games into the season. 8-4 is still very attainable.

but so is 10-2, so we'll see how it plays out.

I'm in line for a ticket on the train.

If we beat Bama this year, I'll build the statue outside of Tiger Stadium myself.

Traveled to a bowl game in Florida and had the pleasure of being in same elevator with Archer... he had zero rapport with fans. Arnspargar was a totally different coach with the fans. We had an RV heading to Notre Dame game. Stop to get gas before leaving BR. Arnspargar saw us, pulled over and thanked us for traveling to game.

He'll never win a championship, but if he can keep getting transfers to make up for complete inability to coach, and takes Aranda hostage forever, he can be good enough to get buttfricked by Alabama and the other anointed teams every year.

But now that I know he'll be the coach forever, because that's our "place," I don't have to give a shite anymore.

See you at the NCAA sanctioning hearings.
