I watched LSU’s first offensive possession. I found myself hoping that we could pick up a first down. Nope. Three and out. Our offense was so easy to defend. Saban had to be laughing on the sideline the entire game.

I watched it.
I re-watched it.
That's why you won't hear me spouting bullshite like:
-- "LSU never crossed the 50."
-- "LSU lost because of Jefferson."

I had a front row seat in the Dome to that disaster.
My last game ever as an LSU student.
I won't be able to watch that game ever again even if we beat Bama every year for the rest of my life and win double digit national championships in that span too.

I can't. Only the highlights when they are forced on me during a game.
I have watched a lot of the rest of that season, over the last few years.
It's still amazing to me how dominant and awesome that team was... until that 1 day.

I was there in the Dome for the game and would never force myself to watch it on TV.

I clicked on a youtube video of the highlights once, but got disgusted after about 30 seconds and turned it off.

Have never and will never.

Me. I was there in person to see it.

<---Not even highlights days after.

I woke up sleeping in my car, in an apartment complex parking lot. Driver seat laid back, beach towel over me. Empty bowl of Crown.
I never ever want to replay that night.

Never. The best thing that happened that night was that a storm knocked out cable with 5 minutes to go in the game.

I haven’t seen it since that night. Haven’t watched an Alabama game since then. Haven’t spent money to go to an LSU game outside of Tiger Stadium since then. Part of me died that night.

"It is seared into my brain, every play"
Every play isn't seared, LSU just ran the same play over and over again.
