So the teams met yesterday with ESPN tot talk about it.

Discussed options.

A few other stadiums volunteered to host the game.

It seems to me like everybody is dragging arse on this and I'm kinda getting a bad vibe. Obviously Houston isn't viable, so how much longer can everybody dick this thing around? When South Carolina/LSU had to be moved, they didn't squeeze the trigger until Tuesday/Wednesday and the stadium was pretty much a shite show. I know there's moving parts to this kind of stuff that I can't even fathom, but it just seems like the longer a decision takes to be made, the more possibilities for everything to be all fricked up.

I guess I'm just worried they'll keep batting everything around until ESPN says "Let's postpone it to later..."

The "deadline" for most locations seems to be Tuesday so today or tomorrow at some point.

That being said I am checking twitter every 2-3 minutes it seems like

They will probably narrow it down to two options, then wait to see which direction the storm goes.

It's not like trying to decide where to eat on a Friday night lol. You have to look at weather projections, lodging, team and fan logistics, ticket and concession metrics. It isn't simple in the least bit

no, you are just impatient. they said later today OR tomorrow they will decide!! Do not start a thread for every silly thought that pops into your mind like kjntiger did yesterday. It WILL NOT make things move any faster. ok? thanks!

I'm hearing the negotiations with the stadium officials are taking longer than expected. Mainly because nobody on our end speaks Romanian

No it wasn't.

I was there.

Sounds like you're just pulling things out of your arse to try and support whatever point you're trying to make.

They have checklists that they are going through today for each location and will assess from there. Need to make sure enough resources are available such as hotel rooms and police to work the game. It will take up most of the day.
Expect to hear some leaks later in the day with the official statement coming tomorrow.

Bruh... There are multiple stadiums doing pre checks and preparations, and officials are looking to see what the storm will look like tomorrow. How are they "draggin arse"?

No nachos. Any attendees will have to work in a prison camp for 24 hours to pay for the game
