It’s 100 percent. The stuff JBE said last week was just trying to scare people to getting the vaccine because he is probably getting pressured from DC that the state’s numbers are low. LSU will be normal for this football season.

Not better than 75% now and declining.
LSU is considering moderating the attendance and tailgating might be largely curtailed or eliminated entirely
We will hear about a non sec school curtailing attendance in the next few weeks and the tone will be set

Every time there is a wave of cases people think cases will keep climbing forever. By the end of August, we will be down to 2-300 cases per day. In 6 months, we will have another surge.
In Missouri, hospitalizations and cases have peaked. We probably peak this week or next.

I think they will shut down and we will have a repeat of 2020 - screwed up schedules, some conferences will opt out.

Louisiana needs to make up its mind about attendance right quick. If attendance is limited then the season ticket holders who have already paid their fees need to be given the chance to opt out and credited or refunded their money.
Last year the decision was given to the season ticket holders in the spring. That gave LSU the information it needed to know how and where to relocate the season ticket holders. And that takes time to figure that out. It’s getting to be late July....not much time left to do everything that was done last year.
And it will be a major hassle if the attendance is changed in mid-season.

0 and you can thank Republicans for that.
Republicans for JBE are the cause of us not having a full stadium

Yeah, but the surge will be when school starts, not in 6 months.

I get what you’re saying, especially for the season ticket holders.
But can you imagine if LSU made that decision 6 weeks before the first home game? That would be akin to the big ten calling off the season early

How about being part of the solution, instead of being part of the problem? Get vaccinated!

The ruling class has shown their hand that vaccinations don't matter as it pertains to Covid policies. We could be at 99% vaccinated and they would still cling on to something else. So why get vaccinated if they aren't taking it seriously either?

The delta variant is making its way through kids now.
Nah, the Brits are ahead of us on this by a few weeks, and while they have seen a scary rise in infections, their death rate is still extremely low. The Brits have decided to open up in the face of this gigantic spike in infections, and that should tell you what they know about the fatality rate.

Lack of vaccination is not the root problem.
Nonsensical, ineffective, and overreaching policy is the problem.

Exactly. The government trying to take rights away as an ultimatum to try and force people to get a vaccine is the issue. And it is also probably why the vaccination numbers are as low as they are. News flash most of Americans don’t trust the government no matter who is in office.

It's not COVID...it's the COVID cult that is ruining college sports.

How about your local physicians? MD Anderson, the Mayo Clinic, Memorial Sloan-Kettering, Ochsners? Take your pick and find a medical health professional or entity that you trust.
