How is this defense this bad?

I’m in here, feels like aTm game last year with all failcon fans in here. But schematically how is it this bad? I get we are banged up. But I need legit reasons and no smart asses please

we are banged up and untalented.
Ellis was probably our 2nd best defensive player. But that is no excuse for this shite. Players are just playing sloppy as hell.

We have limited talent. Stuntsman is awful. Riley and Koolaid are not starting corners on a good defense. Sanker can’t cover. Werner is not elite. Our depth is non existent and we have not invested well enough.
Thank god we drafted Tyson and Delp though.

We have no talent on defense. Outside of Chase young there isn’t a single player that allows you to control a portion of the field. You can’t erase a receiver or a quadrant.
Basically all you can do schematically is try to take away big plays and hope the offense kind of fricks up.
It was that way the first three games but today add in the LB injuries against an elite rushing team and it became a disaster. Stutsman may have had the worst game I’ve ever seen a linebacker have.

Reading is fundamental. The quote was regarding people using the excuse that players hurt were an excuse for this pathetic effort.
The rest was for everyone else making excuses about “it’s year 2 of a rebuild, blsh blah”
Good coaches are turning teams around in a year. This bullshite display we watched is unacceptable……no matter what
