Ummm...what's the direction of academics at LSU that has you so alarmed?

there’s not much to be excited about at LSU at the moment if you’re a straight white baseball prospect.

There's not much to be excited about if you're a fan but unless LSU is about to load the roster with nothing but Dominicans, this might be the dumbest fricking comment on TD this year.

As frustrating as it is just watching his teams sometimes, I can only imagine what it's like playing for him.

Oh, so PM may not have offered bc he knew it would have been a waste bc the kid doesn't want to play for him.

Paul missed on the 3 best players in the state this this year. Walker, Stovall going to Arkansas, and McGhee from Tioga going to Ole Miss. McGhee sat 86-88 yesterday against Neville with a nasty curve. These kids and the parents do not want to go play for Paul. It’s very obvious huge problems for LSU and anyone who tries to defend it is simply naive.

Stovall is a first or second rounder.

Barring a run to Omaha....Good thing he's "retiring" at the end of the season.

Let's wait to see if they make it to campus and see how they do. Let's also not overlook who we do have coming in next year.

In no way am I defending Paul and I've heard personally that some of the good local talent doesn't want to play for him, but we don't have a track record of missing on good in-state players.

Well he never entertained LSU so my point is LSU is not sniffing the big recruits in Louisiana.

I dont Get the “they can offer more”

We can offer a full ride to instate kids.

We may ask if they’d be cool doing tops and partial scholarship but if we want the best you gotta get the best however they want it.

To be fair LSU Commit Frey from rosepine pitched an awesome game for RosePine in the 2A game

Complete Game
7 IP
4 Hits
0 Runs
1 BB
12 K's

Walker is still better with crazy slider, but frey is a stud.

walker pitched 10 innings last night in state semifinals. no hitter, 13 strikeouts. 5A. play west monroe in finals.

this kid should be a priority at LSU- throws low 90's

Can you blame him?

Seems like every season under Mainieri-Dunn, a good pitcher blows his arm out.

state has pitchers blow out arms more frequent than lsu. Hell two years ago they had 3-4 go out the same year. This is a dumb argument. It happens everywhere

Jack was never coming to LSU once he started getting other SEC offers.Just wasn't a fan of the school and I'll leave it at that.

What's concerning is State has two of the top 2023 players in Louisiana already committed.New staff needs to correct this!
