Just ran his team down for a win with 20 seconds left

Well he just delivered a strike there for Tulane to win.

This board strikes again. The thread was created to shite on former players and the player told the OP to frick off

This is true, but McMillan also lit up the camp.

He won state his Jr and Sr year, but split reps with a soph in the state championship game. Kid is a winning, but not talented enough for sec football. In those years Cedar Hill was well coached and loaded with athletes. Many cedar hill fans never understood how and why he ended up at LSU.

I had checked the score early in the game and I thought the game was locked for Houston. Wtf happened?
4 games in 19 days caught up with them. The whole team was gassed in the second half. Whoever agreed to that schedule should be made to run stadiums til they drop

Most of the posters have been complimentary and were pulling for him. It's not shitting on him to note that he's not an SEC caliber QB. The consensus is he's a good guy and we're happy he's found a place he can play.

he was never supposed to come close to starting. 5 year clipboard holder
and he was going to be our starter in 2018 until the Football gods smiled on us. THAT is why people predicted 6-6
does anyone want to argue that 6-6 (or worse) Was likely if he was our starting QB last year?

He was a 3*, ranked #109 QB in the nation. Other QB's in the class of 2015. The top 5 were: Jarrett Stidham Josh Rosen, Blake Barnett, Kyler Murray and Brandon Wimbush. Other notable names: Drew Locke #10, Jake Browning #11, Deondre Francis #12, Sam Darnold #13, and #15 Joe Burrow, 4*. Even Tech's QB was higher ranked, #75 J' Mar Smith, 3*. QB evaluation was really weak at LSU for a number of years during that time. I'm glad to see McMillan doing so well, but he was not an SEC caliber QB.

He ran his HS offense like a madman. He had that whip like release and he made a living on screens and slants because his ball had solid velocity and he was decisive. And once he got to LSU he was a great teammate and locker room guy. I’m glad he is having success because he’s a good dude.

QB evals had nothing to do with it. The dude was signed to try and get the #6 WR in the nation to LSU.

I was downvoted to holy hell, but I posted after seeing his team get beat in the playoffs his senior year saying I hah no idea how that guy is going to play QB in the SEC. good athlete, but not a SEC caliber QB
You are full of shite.
He won back to back Texas state titles. His team didn't lose in the play offs his JR and SR year.

He was w/ Shep right?
He was Shep's Qb in high school.

He's not though. No one thought this guy was anything but a project coming out of high school. You don't have to be Drew Brees to QB a winning HS program.

Yeah, I remember hearing that. I just don't think that speculative argument makes as much sense as does the chronic misevaluation of QB's during that time period. It doesn't make much sense spend your only QB LOI on a 3* in an effort to get his 4* teammate, especially since we got WR's 4* Brandon Martin, 4* Jazz Ferguson and 5* Tyron Johnson.

Lol, no. You have had some bad takes recently. Lodge was on a team loaded with other highly ranked WRs too,, and finished #2 in yards and receptions his final two years. AJ Brown was my favorite WR that came through Old Miss during the time of their offensive explosion. Metcalf was a physical freak, and Van Jefferson came in the same year with Lodge and has been the #1 WR for UF the past two years. Pack is the only high rate WR that was a bust for them.
