The wins came easy back then so it wasn’t hard to stay positive.

Hell , almost 20 years ago now. Didn't they have a kickoff return and it wasn't like they went right down the field on us? Ted Ginn Jr?

We were in the LSU end zone, about 6 rows up. I looked at my buddy and said, “it’s still early and we have Early”. I was right.

I admit I was nervous after Beanie Wells long run...

Felt good again after Hester blew up Malcolm Jenkins on that run. Hester almost put him out of the game, and you knew that was coming all night long.

I thought we killed their qb later in the game.

Was at the game and no one around me was nervous. Just had a sluggish start after the Ted Ginn run back

I was at Buffalo Wild Wings in Winston-Salem, NC. There was one other LSU fan there. The douchebag tOSU fans there were very vocal. It wasn’t long before we had them drowned out. I knew we were going to win.

They all filtered out in the 4th quarter.

Now do the same exercise with Alabama. We were second in the era. Time to do really cool things. Don’t think Alabama has that hope

I was as nervous as nervous could be after they forged that 10-0 lead. LSU football didn't look good at all early in that game, either offense or defense. Even the third LSU drive only netted a FG and the next Ohio drive it looked like they were gonna score a TD, already up 10-3.

Was pretty pissed. Not as upset as the person I attended the game with. He is a poster here. We were late getting into the dome and we basically had to circle the entire dome concourse to get to our seats. Halfway around the concourse, OSU had just gone up 10-0. My cohort was quietly seething as we finally made it to our seats. We get there and there are two young twenties Ohio State fans sitting right in front of us with those plastic "boom sticks" celebrating and banging those things together as we slid down the aisle. He says absolutely nothing, reaches down, yanks both sticks out of their hands, bites holes in each boom stick, and threw them back down to them. I had a LOT of peacemaking to do, as someone else had already threatened to call security, and these girls were pissed. I promised to buy them some beer and that I would keep him under control and they calmed down. As the game goes on and the Tigers start coming back, then take the lead, the girls left before I could buy them the beers.

In some ways, that was the coolest thing I've ever seen done. frick those Boom Sticks.

I mean it was definitely tough to feel good when Beanie Wells took it 75 yards, but I had watched enough of that team to know that we would at the very least make it a close game. That offense was just so good in the big moments.

When Beanie Wells made that TD run, everyone in the house got quiet. Then someone piped up with "That guy's a fig!"

Everyone started laughing and chiming in "Yeah frick that guy" "LSU by 20!"

Well, I had bought great seats from one of the LSU coaches on the 40 yard line up 25 rows. Anyway, I was 3 double Tito's & soda in by the time it was 10-0. I said I thought the team spent the night on Bourbon Street by the way they started.

But then, that Tiger magic switched on and down went the Buckeyes.

Ehh, not much was easy in 2007 apart from Va Tech

Jacob Hester against Florida
Demetrius Byrd against Auburn
Chad Jones against Bama

Very confident considering the Buckeyes were
0-fer against the SEC in Bowl Games.

I was there and I believed firmly that we would win. Same for 2019 season NCG when we fell behind as well. It was 2003 that I was unsure of.
