I’m 50/50 and am just gonna watch hoping and praying the Tigers don’t shoot themselves in the foot.
My biggest hesitation is that Bama has always been good at either forcing crazy turnovers or just getting lucky and a holder completely missing a snap or something.
Every little thing matters from the snappers, holders, punters, coverages, blocking, etc etc. everyone need to execute

I hope we beat them by 40, but I’m starting to worry a bit.
They're a really good team with a young QB. They've struggled to run the ball in short down and distance and they give up far too many sacks. They give up lots of yards through the air, but they also force turnovers at a really high rate. Also worth mentioning that their schedule to this point has been much more difficult than ours.
That said, I'm looking for a couple padlock stats Saturday night.
- We get 4 or more sacks, my assumption is that means we kept them behind the sticks for most of the night and cover the spread
- If we lose the turnover battle by 2 or more, we lose outright
- If neither or both of these things happen, we're going to have to find a way to win our first close game of the year. Hoping the crowd becomes the difference.

Beatdown coming. It’s going to be great watching LSU end their chances of the playoffs.

they seem to have a magic formula against us in our own stadium
Also worth noting that Bama doesn't play anyone worth a crap after our matchup. Ironbowl can be weird, but for all intents and purposes they get to skate into the playoff with a win Saturday night. The SEC needs to go ahead and lock down a couple of those playoff spots and we haven't exactly been their favorite child... Not expecting to get any 50/50 calls. Have to play clean and have to protect the football.

I feel insanely confident. I feel like this is the game that, despite his steady improvement, SL turns it up another level. I feel like he will put all his haters and doubters to bed for good. frick BAMA

It’s going to be a hard match up, it always is.
LSU SHOULD win
But we’ve all seen worse Alabama teams come in and beat LSU. It’s one of those where nothing but a serious blow out would surprise me. These are 2 good football teams that are well coached coming off of a bye.

Comes down to Blake’s D gameplan.Against the 2 best QBs we’ve played he was coaching not to lose, less agressive and it didn’t work.If he calls the dogs to run we can win ,shuts down our athletes we don’t.

I’m going to say 80-90% but I think it’s safe to say we’ve all been burned in these LSU/Bama games. When you look at the teams on paper, this screams LSU by a good margin. Only problem with that view is we were far superior, on paper, to Kentucky. LSU is 2nd in sacks in the country, Alabama I believe is like 112th in sacks allowed. Auburn is also around that number for what it’s worth.
I believe our defense can wreak havoc on Russell’s ability to stay in the pocket and make his reads but he is a far superior athlete compared to a guy like Byrum Brown. Offense shouldn’t have an issue moving the ball. This isn’t the Bama of old run defense and their secondary is penalty prone and banged up. If Sam is able to take care of the ball, I think this game goes LSU by 10+.

Also have to point this out because I heard Hunt talk about it today. Keelon is averaging 81 less yards per game(201YPG) passing on the road. Also his TD/INT ratio is 4/4 on the road compared to 11/1 at home. Small samples size but stark difference in road vs home numbers.

Confident that we are the better team if we are firing on all cylinders but never "confident" when playing bama because we lived through the Saban era.
