How come the 2010 team doesn't get much love & recognition?

We were 11-2
Only lost 2 games by a TD
One of those loses was to the eventual National champions (Heisman Newton & Auburn)
We dismantled a good Texas A&M team in our bowl game. A team that had Von Miller on it.
Ended the season ranked #8 in the country
Our defense was fire. Drake Nevis, Patrick Peterson, Kelvin Sheppard, Claiborne, Baker. A crop of young freshman. Mingo, Montgomery, Reid, Simon, Mathieu, Loston
Had a 1200 rusher with Ridley
If we don't lose that game to Arkansas late in the season we're probably in the National Championship talk possibly with a rematch with Auburn. Or at least playing OSU in the Sugar Bowl.
When we look back in History I just think it's wild this team isn't brought up more.

Id say because the team that came after them overshadowed them a little bit.

The year after that is the best team to never win it all.
They beat the Pac champs, Geno Smith led WVU, Game of the century, SEC champs..
Hard to amount to that.

If the 2011 team had won that last game we’d have a legit argument between them and the 2019 team. 2011 was defensive juggernaut and had the honey badger and 2019 was the most prolific offense in CFB history!

Saban had that game down to a science.
Les was stubborn, but Saban made damn sure to keep the ball away from TM7 all night, and knew exactly what we were gonna do. All night. Rough.

Yes
But
Saban and Bama sat at home, rested and game planned, while LSU had SECCG
The mulligan was BS and I don’t mind saying Bama was definitely 1B, having to beat them again was robbery

We had a few wins that were close as well. Almost blew the opener to UNC (should’ve been a blowout). The Tennessee botched final play mulligan. Les had a way of sucking all the joy out of wins.

The latter was easily more likely to happen. No way LSU gets the Bama treatment.

You can't state that like it's a fact.
LSU was already established as a program that would bring in an outside QB, they'd done it with Mettenberger and Etling already. And they also brought in a Penn State guy that never panned out. LSU was also a national power, that had beat Ohio State for a title.
Burrow left Ohio State when he didn't get the starting job. Many teams, famously Nebraska, told him no. His only choices were LSU (again, a national power who took transfer QBs), and Cincinnati (a mid-major at the time). Burrow was ambitious, he would take LSU 10 out of 10 times, regardless of coach.
As for offensive scheme, remember Les did try a couple times to spruce it up. 2011, for example, was supposed to be the Louisville guy, who took ill with Parkinson's. That offense was a last-minute bandaid run by the O Line coach.
They did open it up for Mett. That Georgia game we lost in Athens was similar to the Texas game Burrow emerged, other than the outcome. We were pushed in both games, and threw the ball accordingly.
As for surrounding talent... Jefferson was a lifer for LSU. And we've always had stud WRs, both under Saban and Miles. I see no reason to say we don't have the same group, or the Catholic High running back.
Maybe it's a bit different scheme (not Brady); Burrow looks good without Brady with the Bengals, other than getting hurt. I think he would still shine through, because a lot of that was his internal motivation more than any scheme. His 2018 offense looked a lot like Les ball, so that would have been the same... and he would have still had a burning desire to come out better the next year. Brady didn't do the summer of 10,000 catches, Burrow and the WRs did.
