re: How come the 2010 team doesn't get much love & recognition?

While I agree they should be given more respect. That Arkansas, the hogs just wanted it more. One of the first times in my young LSU fandom where I saw a team run the ball down our throat to win the game.
And contrary to popular belief that Auburn game could have been won by LSU, we kept playing super conservative on defense against the best player in the country. We sat back even when we had them pinned back.
Oh also this: "During the 2010 regular season, LSU's starting quarterback threw a total of four touchdown passes - four." - Jacques Doucet

Les Miles never ever gets fired if LSU wins that championship.
The 2019 team was assembled by Ed Orgeron. Would have been a different team with different coaches and several players without him.
That’s a fact.
We fired O 2 years after what many consider the best season ever

Didn’t that team loose to Tenn if they knew how to count? Les’s seat was getting warm at that time but Dooley not being able to field 11 guys made it a turning point.

They beat the Pac champs, Geno Smith led WVU, Game of the century, SEC champs..
I think you are underselling this bigly:
SEC Champions and BCS NCG Participant
They Beat:
#3 12-2 Oregon (Rose Bowl and Pac 12 Champions
#25 Mississippi State (Music City Bowl Champion)
#16 10-3 WVU (Big East Co- Champion and Orange Bowl Champion)
#17 Florida (Gator Bowl Champion
#19 Auburn (Chick-fil-a Bowl Champion)
#2 12-1 Alabama (National Champion)
#3 11-2 Arkansas (Cotton Bowl Champion)
#12 10-4 Georgia (SEC East Champion)
*WVU beat #14 10-4 Clemson (ACC Champion) 70-33
So LSU Beat:
PAC 12 Champion (Who throttled the ACC Champion)
Big East Champion
The National Champion
The SEC Runner Up
The Rose Bowl Champion
The Orange Bowl Champion
The Cotton Bowl Champion

Perrilloux
Perrilloux only started two games as a Tiger, and performed brilliantly on both occasions. Oh, what could have been... a lost gem thanks to bad behavior

But they failed to even show up for a Round Two against an SEC rival, in their own home state. Still, 2011 was a GREAT year for LSU football -- arguably their second-best ever, behind 2019.

No, sir. The 24-17 final score was deceptive. Auburn had over 600 yards total offense (over 400 rushing!) while LSU mustered only 240. Still, LSU tied it up at 17 in the fourth quarter, thanks to a spectacular halfback option pass for a TD.
