we went from awesome the first 2 games to pathetic. Shores looked dominant when he first came in and then couldn't throw a fastball fro a strike. which has been plaguing all our pitchers - they can't throw a fastball over the plate..

our pitching is top 10 in the country but we aren't throwing our best arms, we still have two great arms in the pen, hopefully we need them tonight.

Our two best long relievers have not pitched yet. (Cowan and Evans)

Feel like a his umpire is giving more grief to pitchers with some heat. These slower pitch guys feel like they have a higher, lower and wider zone

Is it really or is the staff propped up by having 2 of the best starting pitchers in the country?

LSU has 2 1/2 pitchers. After that it is a crap shoot of pitchers that are afraid to throw strikes,, because they get raked regularly, even by a LR team

Here’s a better question how is the hitting this bad? Against worn out and high era UALR arms, they’ve done almost nothing. Again. It was always going to take a fair amount of runs to win this game. And so far, it’s been terrible. The lineup needs to be reworked, you can’t have your #2 hitter be an auto out most of the time and expect to produce offense.

They have 10 hits and 3 runs through 4 1/3 innings.
