Shaq’s a business man. He’s saying that because he’s president of Reebok and she was his first endorsement. If you hooked Shaq up to a polygraph she wouldn’t come close to that. That’s not a jab at Angel, it’s just that LSU has had a truly insane amount of incredible athletes.

I’d rather have Augustus or Fowles as a someone to build around on a girls basketball team. Literally EVERY guy on the men’s team is a better athlete than her, so this is just stupid. Ben Voogd shits on her athleticism.

Maybe in LSU women’s basketball history. If we talking any sport womens & men then she doesn’t even come close lol. There are tons of men’s basketball, football & baseball players that came through LSU that were better athletes than Reese. In all honesty Reese is actually pretty slow.

Pete, Chris Jackson, and Shaq were all bigger overall basketball phenoms at LSU than Angel Reese.

Do you really think he's talking about her actual athletic ability? Like he thinks she can actually run faster and jump higher than anyone that's ever been at LSU

She’s a great player and LSU won a title with her. She can’t hold a candle to Augustus and has had the benefit of great coaching and an easier path to a title than the Augustus teams did.

She is by far the most notorious female athlete from a team success/exposure point though.

Has a lot to do with the implementation of NIL. Imagine Augustus with that available to her.

Sorry but a dyke in her era would never get the deals that Angel is getting.

I’m assuming your 5 better athletes are Jake Slaughter, Jordan Jefferson, Johnathon Giles, Hal Hughes, and Hunter Dean? If so, then I totally support

You have to put Jack Hunt up there for the Bluegrass Miracle alone.

Eyh... she's gotta be top 5 most impact athletes in LSU history...

1. Joe Burrow - national champ, undefeated season, broke all the records, Heisman

2. Dylan Cruz- national championship, one of the greatest seasons in LSU baseball, broke some records.

3. Angel Reese - national champion. One of the greatest seasons in LSU basketball and women's basketball as a whole, MVP, and broke records being a double double machine, and pioneered LSU into the NIL world. Shaq didn't win. Pistol Pete didn't win. Simone didn't win.

4. Shacarri Richardson - Olympic gold medalist representing LSU. Track superstar.

5. Olivia Dunn - All time great gymnast.NIL impact and pioneer. Multiple titles. Multiple first place competitions.

To me those 5 have impacted LSU and LSU sports more than anyone else. But to not make anyone mad...

6. Pistol Pete
7. Paul skenes
8. Shaq
9. Billy cannon
10. Matthieu
11. Lolo jones
12. J Daniels
13. Augustus
14. Bregman
15. Pat P 7

Riiiight, what a dumbass assumption to think that qualifying someone’s athleticism would help identify the “best athlete”. My apologies.

Wrong on both. Sha’Carri can cement her spot this summer tho. Livvy doesn’t have any championships.
