Show me where SHE said it?
Because this started from a FAN tweeting about it. Not her...from my understanding.
Also you keep saying she's becoming unlikable like LSU fans actually support her? You don't. You don't even really acknowledge her accomplishments at LSU. she won a championship at LSU. They only championship in basketball, male or female, I believe and LSU act like it aint nothing. Every other champion is CHAMPIONED and celebrated at LSU.
You're just looking for a reason to say what you already want to say... you just don't like her. It's fine. Just say that!

Better path to me. Id rather play TCU and USC than UCLA. Post give us problems. Plus Tenn is going to run USC tired before they have to turn around and play us.
You could literally say this same thing about daniels at LSU. Daniels with a competent defense wins the chip EASILY....
Kelly dropped the ball with daniels. Kelly may have missed his championship window. They say LSU has a championship team every 3 years. They had one in daniels and mismanaged it!

The truth is...
They've flipped flopped in the pros vs college.
In college, Burrow had a better defense with that explosive, amazing offensive. That allowed him to win the chip undefeated.
In college, Daniel had an explosive offensive that SHOULD HAVE allowed him to go undefeated and win a chip but he has a horrible defense.
In the pros, it's the complete opposite.
Burrow is the one with the explosive offense that SHOULD go further or make the playoffs but he has a horrible defense.
Daniels have the explosive, amazing offense with the better defense to compliment to win games.
I think if Daniels defense was ANYTHING similar to Burrows defense LSU wins the chip. I also think that if Burrow had the Washington defense Burrow is in the playoffs and who knows...
However at the end of the day, Daniels legs set them apart for me. Burrow will carve you up throwing the ball. Daniels can do both!

This scares me.
LSU has a stretch coming up with Tenn and their up and down fast break play. And the very next game is Texas at Texas with their sluggish post slow pace.
Those two games will tell me more about LSU than any stretch this season. They're going to be worn down by Tenn (like this game) and then have to turn around and play a top 10 Texas team (instead of this vandy team) with a packed Texas environment.
We will figure out LSU mental toughness then...
I'm more scared of the back to back tenn / Texas than the upcoming USC game.

UCLA can beat LSU.
ND can beat LSU.
Oklahoma can beat LSU but will need their A game.
Texas had the worst performance they've ever had and only lost to USC by 14 or so pts.
USCw can beat LSU if they gel and play their A game.
USCe can beat LSU even in a down year (although I love the matchup vs LSU this year).
Uconn can beat LSU with a healthy Paige.
That's about it. But that's also elite 8...
However, I will say I also believe LSU can beat ANY of these teams too on any given night EXCEPT UCLA. UCLA has it all.. Size, Speed, Defense, Offense, Guard play, Post play, and bench depth.

No you are right. They do not have good post play. Ppl who actually watch them and know basketball can see that when they go up against a team like UCLA or Oklahoma or Texas (in a couple weeks) they're going to struggle. Mack truck hasn't turned out to be what her star ranking is. She's too slow defensively and no offensive post play. Smith is still recovering from injury and dont have the pep in her step yet. Shes also just a "shot blocker" who dont block many shots. And Morrow is too undersized to play with the big girls. Morrow looks good now due to competition but when she have to go up against bigger girls she's going to struggle. Morrow is also a black hole. She sometimes take some of the most head scratching shots. She only passes it if she absolutely have to otherwise she is putting it up by any means necessary. Sometimes she hits those shots. Sometimes she doesnt. The transfer from arkansas is getting back into the flow of things from being off all last year. Shes also supposed to be able to stretch the floor and havent yet. LSU is elite eight due to lack of post play. If they can somehow fix that, they'll be good!
I agree.. UGA just showed us that the SEC doesn't benefit from OOC games!
LSU beats clemson like UGA and lose one or two SEC games. They're out.
Meanwhile clemson can lose and win the weak ACC and in.
Or
LSU loses the clemson opener and now they're pinned against clemson for the final spot down the line even if they do well in the SEC.
Lose lose situation...

Yes. They do.
Sloan is predictable... he pass on 1st down then run on 2nd down. And most runs are usually indicated by the slot (TE or WR) motioning in to help block which usually just brings another defender in. Go back and look at the YouTube condensed games. You'll notice the pattern of pass 1st down, run 2nd down, 3rd and long.
Also, every "hurry up" play is a inside run play. Our weakest linemen are the interior and we continue to try to run behind them. No Bueno!
Also, even though it's not saying much, playing the back up guard mobenga tonight after the injury effected alot of pass rush tonight (and running game).
Lastly, Nuss don't make the ends and safeties play gap assignment because he isn't a threat to run..at all. It is a reason why he's ran 2 times this year and both times he's picked up HUGE gains. He will not run the ball and they do not game plan for it nor respect it. Yes, the run game is running into a wall. But it's due to them not respecting nuss as a runner and just crashing down on the line. There's plenty of wide open back side lanes for nuss to run. He chooses not to.
Their run game is their quick passing game.

She did.. but to be fair. She and shelley Anne price wasn't allowed to warm up.
They were held at the gate for an hour... had to walk to the front of the gate that took and hour... and then had to walk back to the athletic tent that took another hour... while all the other athletes were already in warming up and resting their legs.
Shelley dropped out because of it. Richardson didn't want to because of the last olympics.
And she still got silver... impressive to me

She's the ONLY star player who's won a chip in basketball for LSU. That alone should get her a statue.
If we're talking impact for the 4 major sports she's definitely on the mount Rushmore along with Burrow, skenes, and shaq...
You could put ANY player in any era in autograph booths... those 4 booths will have the longest lines... period!

Eyh... she's gotta be top 5 most impact athletes in LSU history...
1. Joe Burrow - national champ, undefeated season, broke all the records, Heisman
2. Dylan Cruz- national championship, one of the greatest seasons in LSU baseball, broke some records.
3. Angel Reese - national champion. One of the greatest seasons in LSU basketball and women's basketball as a whole, MVP, and broke records being a double double machine, and pioneered LSU into the NIL world. Shaq didn't win. Pistol Pete didn't win. Simone didn't win.
4. Shacarri Richardson - Olympic gold medalist representing LSU. Track superstar.
5. Olivia Dunn - All time great gymnast.NIL impact and pioneer. Multiple titles. Multiple first place competitions.
To me those 5 have impacted LSU and LSU sports more than anyone else. But to not make anyone mad...
6. Pistol Pete
7. Paul skenes
8. Shaq
9. Billy cannon
10. Matthieu
11. Lolo jones
12. J Daniels
13. Augustus
14. Bregman
15. Pat P 7

I know it'll be flaujae but honestly I'd put flaujae on number 20. Caitlin side kick. Caitlin scores 30 to 40pts a game. And it ain't a question she is going to get that. But her side kick normally scores 20 to 25 pts a game. Alot of teams don't pay attention to that. I'd football this thing... put my best defender on their 2nd best player and completely take her out the game. And then I'd "bracket coverage" or switch HVL and Poa every 3 mins to face guard Caitlin all game. And if she makes shots she make shots. But iowa is deadly when the team is so worried about CC that the other players get wide open 3s.

I agree....I think they're going to do everything they can to have a USCe vs USCw final four / LSU v IOWA on the other side. There's no way they're not going to capitalize or lose money in the final four when WBB is pretty much at its peak as far as interest.
They will make sure they get CC fab base and money in the final four, Angel's fan base and money in the final four, they'll have a Goliath in USCe in the final four, and then they'll have the next in line JUJU in the final four and that west coast viewership and money.

I think it's complete bs that every team we've played the last 3 weeks have heard if they beat us they move up in the bracket. "With a win over LSU they'll move up blah blah blah" but every time they mention with a win from LSU they stay at a 4 seed... its pure bs!

THIS is the problem. Their STRENGTH is the perimeter and fast pace offense but mulkey is making them walk the ball and run half court offense and get the ball into the post. They lost this game off coaching and Thursdays game against South Carolina.

When I said this last game everybody cried about it. The HVL experiment needs to come to a close.
You looking at it wrong. Best coach? Probably not. But top recruiter? Yes! It'll kinda be like Aranda. Corey you go out and get me grant delpit, Derek stingley, Eli Rick's of the world. I (Blake baker) will coach em up in my scheme.
LSU has been missing the big time top notch dbs. Corey has the track record of bringing them here at the very least.
That's the best I got lol

Gotcha. I agree with you. I don't think it'd her size. I think they said that because teams are starting to go at her and post her up.
re: LSU 84 @ Ole Miss 73 Final

Exactly because POA is the true PG we need for THIS line up. I'm not saying POA is better than HVL talent wise but she's the better fit for THIS lineup as she looks to run the offense and dictate the pass and get everyone else involved.
And most importantly she isn't a liability on defense! Teams are scheming to attack HVL on the defensive side now. They're running plays to post her or clear her to one side in iso situations. Colorado did it, VT did it, and OM just did it.

Who said anything about her size? hvl is not a point guard period. She don't know how to run an offense and she isn't a pass first facilitator. She don't understand angles from a PG perspective. She understands them from a scoring one. And she don't understand the tempo and moments of the game from a PG perspective. That has nothing to do with size

Kim Mulvey or angel Reese needs to have the HARD convo with HVL to ask her to come off the bench in a "ginobli" type role...
She is NOT a facilitating PG and she is costing and has costed her team.
Look at the colorado game, the VT game, and this one. The thing they have in common is they pressured HVL both offensively and defensively.
This team with such great scorers need a facilitating pg not a scoring pg and poa is just that.
And I know you're going to say well she's learning a new position. Well so is morrow because she used to having the ball all the time. So is MW being a freshman. So is Big 4 as KM has asked her to be the glue guy, the utility guy instead of a scorer. They're all learning new positions.
They were being killed on a press and just running an offense until HVL got 4 fouls. Soon as Poa comes in press break and forced Ole miss out of the press at one point. Soon as HVL comes back in turnover, play design to go at her on defense, and the press is back on.
HVL and her PG play is the difference between LSU leaving in the elite 8 or repeating as champs.

How does Colorado STILL make this thread? Furthermore, the fact that you know what colorado is doing justifies why they SHOULD be getting paid. You wasn't watching colorado football before deion and now you're on a LSU page talking about them. That's money in the bank for colorado.
Also, stop pointing to colorado because LSU can't win. Colorado and LSU does NOT have the same caliber of players. It's a positive for colorado to lose by one touchdown given their past and talent. It's a negative for LSU to lose by one touchdown given their past and talent.
