Dude is money on the mound.

We just need Blake to play like it and we will be good.

That's a great stat. Any idea what his ERA is over that timeframe?

Someone would have to go through every appearance and calculate it.

I have some time today.

I'm seeing a 3.64 ERA which is good for 13th in the SEC.

Yeah his numbers arent super impressive. But it feels like when he pitches in big games, we fall behind by a couple runs and always fight back to tie or take the lead when he is going, for some reason. I can remember several of those types of games over the last 3 years

He went 7 innings last night and he didn't even have his best stuff. He just worked his way out of it. He did fantastic, his mental toughness is very underrated.

3.97

After May 22 in 2019 he threw 2 innings and gave up 1 ER. In 2020 he only pitched 1 inning and gave up 0 ER. In 2021, he pitched 54.1 innings and gave up 26 ER. This year he has pitched 47 innings and given up 19 ER. That brings a total of 104.1 IP and 46 ER.

I mean honestly it's not elite or anything but it's pretty damn good, and he's been very valuable for this team when we desperately needed someone like him. And even in his last lost against State in 2019, he till went 4.2 IP, giving up just 1 ER and struck out 8 batters. His last bad outing that resulted in a loss was May 9, 2019, against Arkansas where he went 3 innings and gave up 6 runs.

Guy is an artist on the mound. As another poster mentioned, he is so mentally tough.

Glad to see in his 5th year hes finally pitching like he did Freshman year. Remember thinking we were going to be set on Fri nights the way he came out the gate as a true fr.

Yep. If you include his last loss on 5/22/2019 where he only gave up 1ER, it’s 3.97.

He’s had some games where he has given up 4, 5 and 6 ERs since that 5/22 game but he didn’t take the loss.
