Agree Mett is a work in progress. LSU is the "most vulnerable" what?

that's just the way he tweets. never completes his sentence, just keeps it hanging because its more provocative.

To lose.

However, our D is more than enough to stop everyone left on our schedule to < 14 points.

most vulnerable what? most vulnerable to losing our QB over inept blocking?

also, too much is being hung on Mett. he's looked really good all things considered. better than I thought he would from an accuracy and poise perspective. his blocking and receivers have been a letdown.

To Towson? To lose a game between now and the end of November? He makes no sense without a qualifier.

Who can argue with that? Yes, he's a work in progress. How quickly he progresses will deterimine how far LSU can go. And yes, LSU is vulnerable. Unfortunately without Mett we fricked.

Vunerable because we're one hit away from being fricked.

I wish in these early games they would let him air it out often.

If our coaches track records are any indication it may never happen, let alone quickly

you don't really need a qualifier for what he said.

He will be fine if the coaches:

A) Correct the OL issues
B) WRs stop dropping catchable passes.

Mett's not the problem right now.

If our OL played up to their preseason hype and our WRs didn't have a case of butterfingers, Mett would be averaging ~225 yards passing per game.

the o line is the biggest disappointment of the season so far.

While I agree with that I think we can also agree he isn't the savior behind center we thought he would be. I think the best way to describe Mett at this point is serviceable

It's good to know there are some intelligent posters on here that don't pumpatiger.

The O line needs to gel. That Faulk injury is an issue. Basically plugging in JD at LT who hadn't played a down in a year means it will take time, but they better get it together in the next 2 weeks.

So far, Mett has been a little sketchy, but I expected exactly that. He is still thinking out there instead of just reacting. There will come a turning point where it will look like he has turned a switch and he will start playing at an All America level. I'm guessing it will be early in the 3rd quarter at the Swamp. I can hear Danielson now with the cliche'..." We're witnessing this young man grow up right before our eyes." I can see Mett dropping a three TD 3rd qtr down on the Gators.

Then, all of the "experts" will say that they saw it coming all along.
