So, many places blew up JD's numbers from all year (looks like a video game), and many places ran with JDs huge night vs GA St. Highlight packages were made by ESPN and Sports Illustrated especially for Daniels plays in the game. Nix fans kept the chirping on half time Bo Nix stats not realizing Nix threw the ball 29 times, and Daniels threw the ball 30 times. Two of Nix's TD passes were behind the line screens that went for 120 yards in total.

While they were chirping, I went and added up the actual time it took Daniels to score those points. It was less than 21 minutes. LSU held the ball less than 25 minutes. Daniels scored the first 5 TDs in 10 minutes and the last 3 in 11 minutes. Essentially 56 points in a quarter and a half of work.

That Kid JD

65% of his passing yards this season are yards after the catch. That percentage leads the nation by far. He dinks and dunks and let's his receivers make plays after the catch. That's also why his completion percentage is so high and interceptions are so low. He doesn't take many chances down the field.

Nix left the SEC to pad his stats in the PAC 12. Enough said

You knew talking heads that aren’t fans of JD would be criticizing last night.

Everyone needs to justify their vote when is SHOULD be a slam dunk

The west coast talking heads don’t want to look at those stats they’ll just keep telling their small minded brains that Nix should win it. Luckily I think enough voters from the south and eastcoast know that Daniels is the clear cut winner

It should be plain and simple. QBs in the SEC just should not be able to put up numbers like Jayden has. "Down year" for the SEC or not.

Exactly right. Even though Daniels played later in the game, he was on the field for almost the same amount of time as Nix. Daniels played 8 possessions. Nix had 7. There wasn’t some great discrepancy in the opportunity they each had to put up stats.

LSU's strength of schedule is much tougher than Oregon's in all the different rankings of SOS. Bo Nix padding his stats against mediocre opponets. Truth.

Check the play by play of Nix’s last game. They have no room to talk about stat padding

That last TD against GA ST feeds this argument. Fueling the idiot chorus hurts JD more than one more TD helps him.

SEC always gets bashed because they play these cupcake teams late in the season while most programs are still playing conference games. The difference is, SEC will play 3 OOC games early, and these ones late; where as, other conferences will play most of their OOC games in weeks 1-5. At the end of the day, they all play similar shitty teams.

JD had to go against FSU, Grambling, Army, then Georgia St
Nix had the gauntlet of Portland State, Texas Tech & Hawaii in weeks 1-3

The biggest difference in their OOC games is FSU and SEC still has 4 OOC games and the Pac## decided to switch to 3 several years ago because it helped their SoS

I believe both finished the night with just 5 incomplete passes each.

JD should win the Heisman, but the Pac 12 didn't "Switch" to 9 conference games for SOS purposes. It has been that way since it was the Pac 10 and they played round robin without a CCG.

Mind you JD5 was already ahead of Nix in total yards by a wide margin before GSU

This is my attempt at an unbiased opinion.

I don't think there is any doubt that Daniels is the best player in CFB. Even if he wasn't statistically superior to Nix or Penix, which he is. You can't watch game film of the 3 and come to any other conclusion. His dynamic running and evolution of his passing this season are incredible.

In the Ga St game JD probably should have been pulled after the TD to start the 4th. Bringing him back for what even JD said, "to break the record" is going to create a negative perception. That's on Kelly, not JD.

Regardless what anyone feels about leaving him in it shouldn't have any bearing on who wins the Heisman. Daniels is just better.

Strength of schedule through 11/19/23:

LSU - 18
Washington - 32
Oregon - 62

now who is padding stats against weak opponents all year?

get outta here with that noise.

Let us settle this Bo Nox BS. If you had to choose a QB to be your QB for the season. These QB's are JD5 and BN the pu$$y who could not handle the SEC. Who will you choose? 9 out of 10 times you will choose JD5 hands down. BN could not handle the SEC at Auburn so he goes to the soft PAC12. JD5 is leaps and bounds better than BN.

Why would you bother engaging those idiots? Did you convince them JD was better than Nix? Unless they are Heisman voters why waste your time?
