Agreed - and this class has been advertised as Bryce’s first class. Will be interesting to see what we can bring in the portal as well. Think we at least hit on Cece and Kylee this year, and saw glimpses of Char and Ali throughout the year too.

So what men's sport do you want to drop in order to drop softball? If we go by results, let's start with men's basketball or baseball. When that conversation starts, I'll bet you will change your colors real quick.

I'm always curious to see how a lead recruiter's 1st class turns out. It does look promising and I saw the staff on home football weekends at Lod Cook with several prospects each time. The staff, prospects, and parents looked to be engaged in conversation and activities and that is a promising sign for future.
But, there was a parent of a top player in Texas who wore me out at a playoff game about how much he didn't like how LSU handled his darling daughter's recruitment. I blew it off as someone who didn't get what they wanted (but went to Texas at Austin) and you're always going to get parents like that from time to time. From what I saw in the fall combined with the potential of this class, I think we will be better next season.... but we shall see.

I agree I think we can make solid strides with the incoming class, hope Beth gets the freshmen class more involved next season especially pitching wise. Saw some promise from Cali Deal in the A&M game but that was her only real SEC exposure. Glad she is sticking around.
Think we also have clear cut captains if they choose to do this again next year with Kylee, Alix, and potentially Sierra. I think the Berzon experience showed Beth you have to let them go, and the grass isn’t always greener.

The portal been open a week and not 1 commit, nothing going on, I will repeat if they don’t get 3-4 starters including 1 pitcher it will be a catastrophic season and Beth fired!! I hate it because she is a quality person but at some point you got to get off your arse and get ppl!

It’s also what’s most likely to happen based on decisions we have made in football and both bball programs..

I support but not blindly, if you aren’t doing the things necessary to win than I’m out.. the next class is good but trying to win with freshmen is for losers

I want to win and thought she was on the right track with some of the additions from last yr and the class incoming however relying on freshman will get you fired and deservedly so. If she doesn’t get any portal starters I will be on your side and say she should be fired
