If TT is going to throw big time money at softball players then they should absolutely take it. I don't fault the kid in this spot at all. I also don't fault LSU one bit for not spending that type of money on softball. It just is what it is. TT spent that kind of money twice and they have zero titles to show for it. Its a ridiculous investment if you ask me, but its not my money.

I unfortunately agree, the AUSL isn’t paying players a million a year like TT is. Just hard to root for them in the same breath.
Do think we can’t complain about Beth if she doesn’t have the investment her counterparts have.. can only do so much with the $$ we have.

I suspect so, I think this was done in March, Heavener at least produced big moments Tori was a defensive liability and pedestrian at best at the plate. According to media ppl she blames everyone but herself for her failures.

It's a lot more than just $$$ issues with Softball Nikki.
Everything about the program is MEDIOCRITY PERSONIFIED and there are A LOT of weak and meek non-competitive LSU fans that are perfectly fine with all the mediocre BS.

The transfers other than Edwards and Heavener had no business being at LSU, if you want to blame Beth blame her for recruiting mid major types for yrs or allowing her sorry assistant Leftwich to recruit like that. The day Dobson went to Team USA is the day this program regressed, he was the one carrying the load recruiting wise, he recruited the best players , he developed the hitters until Torina allowed Leftwich to split the hitting duties! Everyone blamed Dobson but it was Leftwich that ran this program into the ground and Beth allowed it. They have done nothing in the portal after losing Edwards, Lassiter, Bergeron and Heavener, they have no catcher with any experience none!! She has another couple weeks or so to change the portal outlook but so far is has been pathetic. I will repeat if they don’t get 3-4 portal starters this will be the worse season of her career and she will have earned the firing that surely will be coming.

Beth fired? That's music to my ears! She should've been gone after last season. Surely, there are up and coming coaches out there who can bring a better product to LSU than Beth.

She will have earned it, it appears she isn’t even trying to get better in the portal. I have been one of her biggest advocates but not trying to build a better team is a joke and shows she really just doesn’t care and is just collecting a check.

Agreed, if that occurred which I have no knowledge, all that knew and didn’t take action should be fired immediately!! It’s no different than Corey Myers who has been basically banned from the sport
