I agree I think we can make solid strides with the incoming class, hope Beth gets the freshmen class more involved next season especially pitching wise. Saw some promise from Cali Deal in the A&M game but that was her only real SEC exposure. Glad she is sticking around.

Think we also have clear cut captains if they choose to do this again next year with Kylee, Alix, and potentially Sierra. I think the Berzon experience showed Beth you have to let them go, and the grass isn’t always greener.

Not drawing conclusions from the post/comments just adding it as a piece of the puzzle. If players can’t buy into what the team leadership is selling teams will always play flat.

The energy this year from the team was pretty flat from our “captains” so makes you wonder if it is a lack of complete buy in to the program.

The comments in the post make it seem like there is more going on. Agree most players in the portal have not had playing time but is it because they can’t buy in for some reason? Just odd to have a revolving door even before the portal was as big as it is now.
