Feels like we are 0 for our last 78 with bunt attempts. Reminds me of Jake Slaughter trying to lay one down.

I’ve never watched baseball, but I’m sure the answer is no, never.

Yes, but it was only once and it was back in ‘63.

That would have been a good spot to pinch hit Neal

I recall Jarred Bogany laying one down against Canisius in the fourth inning

Last year and Milazzo is BY FAR their best bunter, at least last season.

he should have bunted to first base side with RH pitcher that falls off the mound to his right

Reread what you just typed.

How about the pitcher did 2 things pretty damn good. Made an excellent pitch AND an even better play.

That was on Jay for not bunting him sooner

Agreed

Neal will keep Milazzo well rested

Bunting Milazzo is never a good idea. He just can’t do it

The answer is no. Yet we are national champs. Bunting is for pussies. Go watch money ball

He had more than twice as many sac bunts as anyone on the team last year. He was 5th in the conference in sac bunts, actually, and wasn’t an every day player
