After Tennessee, I thought he would likely be undrafted if he declared for the draft.

So, that would mean he would probably return for a 5th year. However, he looks like he’s putting it all together now.

I still don’t think he will be a high pick, but if he continues playing at this level he could be a 4th round pick.

What are the odds he returns to LSU next year or declares for the draft?

Probably a late round pick right now. If he replicates the last 2 games over the last 4, he could go 1st round.

His play the last two weeks would get him drafted late. It’s crazy but if he comes back next year and has a big year he could be in early round pick

Just showing potential that he could be coached into being a decent passer with that athleticism is going to intrigue it lots of teams

Not even close. Do you understand the position? He can run and dump the ball off the open recs. That may work in college in the right system, but he would be easily defended in the NFL due to his limitations passing.

No. Still not accurate or decisive enough down field to play at the next level. Missed guys that were wide open, takes too many sacks, skipped balls to wide open guys, and underthrew the deep ball. You don't have to like it, but it is absolutely factual.

He'd be stupid to leave after this year. He could be a legit Heisman contender in 2023 with an elevated draft pick.

I'll agree with you here...there has been a good many mobile QBs that made plenty by fooling NFL scouts.

I don't see him (right now) going before the fifth round. He has to improve his reads and getting the ball out faster. He would do well to stay an extra year.

I see him finding far more success in the CFL. QBs, that can, run all over that league.

I figured he was a practice squad player a few weeks ago. But if he can replicate his recent play for a full season next year he definitely will get a few looks.

No, there is still a lot of room for improvement. The line is playing a lot better and he is throwing the ball instead of taking off, but he is still waiting too long and making receivers stop and come back to the ball. He is progressing, however and with another year he may be an early round pick.

Normally I would say no way, but JD is so damn fast he is going to draw interest.

Absolutely not.

He doesn’t have an nfl arm.

Danny Elting got drafted, so it’s not crazy to think Daniels will be drafted.

He would need to perform like he is right now for the entire season next year to have a chance at being a first rounder

What if he is a combine warrior and puts up ridiculous numbers?

He has good size and will fill out more. If he gets with the righ coaches and trainers, he could surprise a lot of people. His resume has been solid and he has the chance to stack it up some more. Top 5-10 QB is possible..
