Hopefully so he can leave and we can move on at the QB position next year to one of the younger QBs. Who obviously have upside for the next few years.

If you’re maybe a 4-7 round pick right now, why not just come back and be the star player the following year in college and make more money in NIL.

If Jayden comes back next year he is a 1M NIL player.

I'd take JD5 right now over Kyler Murray and save 225mil.

Hopefully you guys realize that even our great joe burrow was a projected as a late round pick before 2019.

Jayden has the potential to be the #1 pick in 2024.
He doesn’t turn the ball over. Those extra possessions often win games.
His mobility is rare. His durability is rare as well.
He put on 15 pounds between spring and fall camp.
He was in a competition til late august.

He should add at least 10 more.

Now that the training wheels are off and he knows that the coaches aren’t looking to bench him. Watch him blossom.

Think about the difference between Damone Clark’s junior year and senior year. Night and day right. Watch Jaydens growth.

If you play like shite and people say you should be benched for playing like shite AND THEN you stop playing like shite - they were not wrong.

If I say you smell bad and then you take a bath, it doesn’t mean you didn’t stink previously.

One, he wasn’t ever playing like shite except for the first half at Auburn. Secondly, had he been benched then he wouldn’t be balling out now, so yes it was stupid and wrong to suggest that. Kelly knew all along.

Ask yourself this, where would we be today had we listened to the rantards and benched Daniels?

There’s no answer to that question.

Look around college football. There’s plenty of evidence of starters being benched and the backup flourishing, and vice versa.

The current reality was not the only potential outcome. It’s a silly suggestion.

No. Not yet anyway.

I for one look forward to him doing so through the remainder of the year.

Nothing against Daniels because he’s played great but he is not an NFL QB, he can’t throw anyone open or anticipate a break.

He's probably not going to do much in the NFL but a good OC can fix these problems by scheming guys open.

Josh Allen was worse in college at all of these things than JD and a good OC molded him into an MVP-level QB by making the game easy for him. JD doesn't have that kind of ceiling b/c nobody has Josh Allen's physical gifts, but it's an example of how a good coach/scheme fixes these exact issues.

What? You don't think he's shown enough to be even a 7th round pick?

These guys went in the 7th in 2022:

Chris Oladokun
Skylar Thompson
Brock Purdy

You don't think Jayden has a shot to be on their level?

I hope Daniels is our QB for the rest of this year and next year. Not sure what you are referring to.

He played shitty earlier this year and he's playing great now. It happens. Do you even watch football?

He needs to put in a solid full season. Also adding a little weight wouldn't hurt.

Next year, barring injury, would help his draft stock

QB class is absolutely stacked this year, he’d have a chance to go high in 2024

He’s going to get a look by the NFL. How much of a look or how long of one, who in the hell knows at this time.

By the way, he didn’t play all that bad against Tennessee.
