Maybe a 6/7 round as a gamble. But he's not accurate enough to make a roster as a QB.

I could see his stock rising and being taken in the 2nd or 3rd round

All the things we dont like about JD will keep him from being a high draft pick.

I agree, JD needs to continue to improve and then be consistent with his reads and throws. He needs to come back next year and prove to the NFL that he can be effective at the next level.

I think he'd greatly improve his stock by staying next year.

That said, if I'm the GM at say Baltimore, and am unsure about giving Lamar a long-term deal, I'd draft Jayden late and see how he develops. Worse-case scenario, you know he fits their offense at a much cheaper price than what you have to pay Lamar.
