No...actually that angle was kind to Perkins. From my angle watching live he pushed that ref a good 2 yards.

It was not a trip or accidental bump.

You can tell who the children are on this board based on responses.

Feel like shoving a ref can warrant an ejection

Imagine if he was ejected and had to miss the 1st half of the Bama game. Reminiscent of the "Free Devin White" campaign 4 years ago!

Very much like what Burton did to the UT fan.

Don’t forget Perkins was tackled from behind while attempting to sack the qb when he stepped up in the pocket…

Yeah if anyone actually listened to the broadcast (apparently nobody did) they clearly said it was for contact with an official.

He should never touch the official but calling that a shove is a stretch. The ref stumbled over Perk's feet.

Yes Harold shouldn’t have done that, but he barely touches the ref and the ref trips over his foot. Not like he just straight shoved him.

There is not one person in 10 million, besides a few dumb LSU fans, who would think that’s not a penalty. Geez, the things you people will argue about!

Forget the penalty, did yall see him shove that big bastard into the pocket. Oh, my.

Perkins got held with both hands, facemask shoved and took exception...good for you. And he didnt shove the ref, he just politely moved him away so he could continue his discussion.

Where did I say that wasn’t a penalty?

That ref missed 2 holding calls and a personal foul. That is 100% why that situation escalated. Cause and effect. That ref caused that situation to happen.

Now, explain how the ref didn’t call the personal foul against Harold Perkins.

I was so pissed but I didn't see him shove the official. Not smart at all, he's lucky he didn't get ejected.

If I were a future opponent lining up against him, I would frick with him all game. And then call his mother a piece of shite at the right moment in the game.

From where I was sitting I saw Perkins move the ref out of the way and told the guys around me that Perkins was about to get ejected.

Glad he didn't but he needs to not do that again.

You're making this something that it's not. I agree it should have been a penalty but it's not like he lost his cool or had anger management issues

And it sure is shite wasn't a 'shove'. He brushed the ref aside, which he shouldn't have done.
