… but is there going to be sufficient PT for them all to get their expected touches?

Lane will likely line green up out wide at WR quite a bit now, so it may eat more into the WR Touches than Greens’s

Yes especially with Green being more receiving TE. There’s ok depth behind Green but it’s not quality. If he goes down we’re not in a good spot on offense.

If Kelly was still here, I’d agree.

Lane will use everyone. And I mean..

There’s a reason Lane decided to do this. Y’all’s TE room may be good but he felt like he needed someone else to make the offense really run efficiently

People saying “nice depth piece” are crazy. He’s going to play and play a lot! Hes a different style TE than Green, but honestly last year he put up more yards and almost as many catches as Trey’Dez has put up in his entire CAREER. Having him as a TE that can block, chip, and catch passes will only help Trey’Dez be able to split out and Lane to utilize his size.

Happy for the pick up if it happens but I thought we were weak on O line and cb depth.

Great? The guy wasn’t drafted for a reason.

We have 9.

That’s one tight end per possession in a typical game. So no problems.

Green is a WR

Wright, with the way Kiffin uses him, is the best TE in the country

He is a better blocker than Trey’Dez and has more experience. He had more receiving yds last season than Trey’Dez has had his entire career. He’ll help us out a lot, but He’s not going to take Green’s spot, they are completely different type of players.

I have wondered what’s happened to David Lafleur’s son.

Is he not as good a prospect as originally thought?

Nahh he has been making some catches in practice reports I've heard

This is a special situation where you can plug and play a 5th year senior who knows the system.

I think having a seasoned TE that can block is a great benefit to the OL

I have no knowledge of the situation. But I think Green is going to lineup in the slot and this NFL guy is going to be a traditional TE at LSU.

I really think Green can be LSU version of Randy Moss.

I’m sure he will be fine in a couple of years. What were you expecting?

No shite. And in the slot. Just like he was going to do without Wright. Trey’Dez is a WR. It don’t matter what letters they put next to his name on the programs. The fact that there are so many comments that haven’t already figured that out by now is baffling.
