Austin Thomas or one of his 10 employees should have had complete clarity on this months ago.

Correction: Media had no knowledge of it like anything.

More than likely LSU already knew about this I'm sure. Just because Hunt and Charlie weren't in the know doesn't mean that's true for LSU.

I this kind of has the feeling that LSU was to understand he was good to go and now someone outside of LSU is raising the question of "Why wasn't it for fighting?".

I could be dead arse wrong, but why would you be so bought into the "1-0" deal, then let a suspended player take all these reps with the 1's all camp

Why would a Big 12 suspension carry over for a player who doesn’t play in the Big 12 anymore?

it would be an NCAAA suspension if it happens.

By all accounts, this isn’t accurate

By what accounts? Charlie Hanagriff?

Strongly disagree. There’s a checklist you go through- academics, injury, character, eligibility, etc. Scanning box scores for potential erroneous reports isn’t on that.

If a player got ejected in the last game of the season and they are transferring, yes, the most definitely get clarification from the NCAA on game eligibility.

I don't even understand how this is just now coming to light 2 days before kick off. WTF man

It was reported that LSU and the SEC weren’t notified. Reports were that Clemson recently notified the NCAA. Dabo waited until damn near the last minute to gain an advantage. Pussy.

But the refs aren't, and under the rules, if a team plays a suspended player, they can rule the game a forfeit. Are you willing to take that chance with any refs? They get paid and go home early.

They can flag the team with an unsportsmanlike just for having him on the sidelines.

File a lawsuit ahead of time.

He would be suspended from the Big 12 rulebook, on page 1 of the thread

LSU should just preemptively file for a an emergency injunction by the court so they can play him and tell the NCAA to get fricked.

An injunction. I need a ruling from the tRant lawyers. Can you file a preemptive injunction? I feel like I have seen it, but not sure.

Yes and Hunt Palmer. 2 very reliable sources.

You’re not getting it. The issue is that it may have been incorrectly recorded as an ejection for unsportsmanlike conduct instead of fighting. The ncaa may not have known this was a thing before Clemson called them.
