I actually expected more O championing. The board is more collected in wanting O fired than I expected. Even some long time O cultists have changed over. I expected there to be WAY more O championing after the Florida win. Especially with how bipolar our fan base is.

These people are treating Coach O like their puppy, and Woody just took it to the pound.
LSU should never hire a LA guy again with the way many of the fans are acting. Its blinded them to what the expectations of the LSU Football Head Coach are.
All of this "he's one of us" crap needs to stop, or LSU Football is going to be like the rest of state--mediocre.

I bet your friend knows zero about football.
I’m no X’s and O’s guy but I know losing badly in 3-4 games a year will get you booted at LSU.
I’m also knowledgeable enough to know that we can do a lot better with the talent we have.

the issue is most those casual fans have never coached or played organized sports and do not have the mentality required to understand. most are football ignorant on performance and X and O. face it most know nothing other than what constitutes a run or pass play.
people are lazy and willfully ignorant and refuse to learn and educate themselves on the sport.
ask somebody you know if they know what a 9 route is? smash route? or what a QB power is? or what a counter trap is? Or what a zone read is? or what a 5 technique is? or what a 3-3-5- stack is?

Saw a thread on Facebook (I only use it for family members) as well with a few people with this mentality. Seems like it's mostly casual boomer type fans who like Orgeron because "he's one of us."
