The local news here went to Walk On's today and asked people there what they thought about it and one guy said, "I think they should give him time to make it right. The AD should be ashamed"


Do what? He's had a year and a half to 'make it right.' How much time does the guy need? In the press conference today, Ed himself said ,"If I knew what went wrong, I would've fixed it."

If he doesn't know what went wrong, or how to fix it, who's supposed to know? He's the head coach. But yeah, let's give him even more time.


Your opponent isn't going to gift wrap 4 ints every game like Florida did yesterday.


I don't understand the mindset of people like that. Blame everyone except the actual head coach.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the guy or anything but he's not in it anymore, it would cost more to retain him while he 'figures it out." He's just not in it, his body language on the sidelines shows it.

The fact that O brought LSU the best player and best season in college sports history and two years later, during the covid debacle, he gets fired. I guess we will see, but the saying be careful what you wish for comes to mind

Since then he's coached his team to a 9-8 record. I have no idea why some people give him a pass for what he did two years ago.

Yes, it was great, it was awesome. I enjoyed it just like everyone else but since then, the program has looked like a mess.

Like I said, I don't' hate the man but he obviously is in over his head, he doesn't know how to fix glaring issues (he admitted that today)

It's in the LSU football program's best interest that he isn't here.

I don't wish any ill will on the man. I've met him and was super cool with me.

I given him credit for speaking publicly on the matter though and I've given him credit in the past for things he deserves credit for.


It's the present state of the program is the glaring issue. And has been for some time now.

So my response was, are your loyalties to LSU or Coach O? And he says he has plenty of loyalty to LSU... well doesn’t sound like it brahhh. Dude got so mad because I told him yesterday it was over when he wanted to post after the Florida game for the Coach O haters to “take that” smh. I said bro, he’s gone regardless, and he got pissy af.
