What also keeps victims from coming forward is people who tend to shame victims first. Your post is the classic example.
People are still innocent until proven guilty in this country, at least for now... of course, unless you're a progressive democrat then you can cast blame upon whomever you choose without a shred of evidence.
As for the evidence in this issue thus far, it's suspicious at best. So yeah, I'm sticking with the accused until they are proven guilty.

Unfortunately, that isn't necessarily the case with Title IX issues. You can thank Obama for that. Many college men's lives have been ruined based on allegations.

That strains imagination. Hard to believe Orgeron would say or even think that!
If he did, it’s indefensible.
Coach O has never steered away from the fact that he treats the kids like his own children.
If your son comes home from college one day mad about a gf cheating on him, you may very well say something like "Ah well, son. That's how college girls are."
That's very normal and an understandable piece of advice to console a sad college kid.
The context is key here. If O thought it was just a matter of getting cheated on, it's LOT different than a player coming to Coach O and saying "Guice raped my GF."
I'm sticking by the scenario where the GF got hammered at a party and let Guice tap it. Crying rape was easier than apologizing for it. And yes, women will scream from the mountain top to anyone before apologizing for being a whore. It happens every day.

Les kicked his starting qb, fresh off of an sec championship mvp performance, off of the team just for being an immature douche. He kicked the greatest collegiate defender I've seen in my lifetime off for weed.
But he was orchestrating a cover-up to protect a freshman back the same year LF7 was making a Heisman run? This was the spring after Les ran off another freshman, Trey LFMAO, for tuning up some dude and decking his chick.
Can we try using a little bit of logic here?

Remember the Duke lacrosse case... just because someone says something, doesn't make it true.

Eddie Nunez was in charge of tennis at the time.
Connect the dots there, a lot of arse covering going on
Joe/Miriam/Eddie/Bo all deserve to go down, luckily LSU has already moved on from two of those clowns

Coincidently, Alleva was AD during both...

I think If you take the allegations at face value the First Girl was more likely a rape and she just didn’t want to push it with the school. But it does seem like LSU did the right thing, and honestly Guice likely has a different story. It seems unlikely O would bring up a rape the staff was trying to cover up. Like I said, it seems unlikely O knew the girl claims she was raped.
The second girl seems more like a drunk hook up, but there is a lot of information missing and it is possible LSU fricked up the investigation. It would be pretty hard from a criminal stand point to convict Guice even accepting the facts as she presents them.

This. I bet O knew this kid and Guice had beef over a girl, but a rape? Not sure why he would have knowledge of this.
As far as I can tell, victim A told a friend she was raped, the friend reported it to a Title IX official at the school, but the victim wasn't the one pursuing the complaint.
Victim B appears to have been a pill addict with comorbid substance abuse issues before even knowing Guice, and it's clear the tennis coach was sick of her shite. If anything, the tennis coach is at fault.
So you have an alleged victim who didn't pursue charges or a formal complaint (her friend did on her behalf, which isn't how this shite works), and a victim with questionable credibility who told her tennis coach. What incentive does a tennis coach have for covering up an alleged rape by a football player?

This is why he fell in the draft and the rant melted. People have known the Guice rumors for years. When someone posted them during the draft the post would get whacked.

are you saying straight up he knew about it and chose not to do anything?
How would the former player know this for a fact? If O said "I know Guice raped your girl but its cool cuz girls gonna be hoes anyway." then that would have been the quote in the article not this unwarranted conjecture.
quote:
Do you believe Coach O knew about it
My Theory on the alledged player:
The most likely scenario (given that O's statement was actually said by O) is that the player was hurt, embarrassed, angry, and defensive about the whole situation which is completely understandable and natural. In this state of mind coach O might have said that girls sleep around comment thinking that his GF simply cheated on him with Guice not knowing that it was more of a rape situation. The player being Angry and Defensive about it jumps to the conclusion that O is trying to cover it up, therefore he must know.

Boom which nails this square on les miles so Wolken can get fricked attacking O. The parties that failed/ were involved are at Kansas, Oregon state and unemployed

The former player said he doesn’t know how Orgeron knew what happened, but he believes the coach knew it was not consensual.
“I lost all respect for him,” the player added.
Orgeron did not respond to a request for comment.
Thank God we have Kung Flu going on right now to take people’s attention away because if not this would be headline news from now until the season starts. With the virus no one besides the usual woke crew on Twitter will care. And that’ll only be for a few minutes.

You are incorrect. I have been a FA Director for 16 years. When a school decides to participate in Title IV Financial Aid, they enter into a contract to abide by the Department of Education's rules and regulations in exchange for getting that government money.
